Appreciate the videos man! Unfortunately the core daemons don't quite work how you said in the video - everything except Furies is only core if your general is that same daemon, same for the special stuff, so if you're going Bloodthirster as general you only get Bloodletters, Flesh Hounds and Furies as core. Furies look pretty sweet though, especially Mark of Khorne for Str 5 on the charge.

😶how did I not see that. Im going to have to make another video to fix this thank you so much for catching this!

You're not the only one - the Old World Builder page for DoC does the exact same thing, so it's really hard to actually make lists over there atm.

@@chriswallace9626 it’s just kind of curve ball to be honest. Back in 8th ed you could roll a general as a blood thirster and a unit of plague bearers. Personally I feel like daemons are a tad worst now than I previously thought.

@@tabletoptyrant9573 You know what im missing as a newcomer? A simple and clear summary of pros and cons of every faction. Could be idea for video on legacy armies. Would be cool to know if a faction is more or less strong, maybe lets say dark elves excel at range fight, lizardmen are the strongest melee, lets say daemons of chaos are the most versatile blah blah - you get my point :D and then how to even out some disadvantages, for example these are squishy units keep them afar etc. I know you do it along the video, but maybe a bit more detailed summarization section would be cool, or separate video :D anyways - thanks!

I am trying to come up with a list for them. Maybe let me know what you're thinking after.

Ooof! Congrats on ruining Christmas! LOL @tabletoptyrant9573 Awesome video. Greatly enjoyed it! Hmm I was thinking Keeper, Herald, Daemon Prince, block of Daemonettes to go with Herald, Furies and Seekers to finish Core.... then double hellcannon for ranged support. Rethinking this a bit after the video. Gonna think on it for a bit but think I'm gonna incorporate some Bloodcrushers instead of the 2nd hellcannon, and reduce what I'm taking in core daemonettes/seekers. I do think you're underselling the Keeper quite a bit. It gets real expensive real fast but for 510 points you can have a level 4 wizard with Soporific Musk(reducing enemy strikes first) and the Aetherblade(No armor saves allowed on any attacks including stomps), combined on a character with possibly 7(daemonic vessel) attacks at WS7 S6 -2, Killing Blow, Strikes First..... I'm not sure what survives 1v1 combat. And then you have the cheeky D3 stomps at S6 no armor save. Obviously if you throw it into a big block of something like Chosen I think it'd lose, but anything that's singled out by itself like a Dragon, chariot or something could be a good target(despite killing blow not working on the dragon or chariot example). I could be overselling it though. Gonna have to try it in a game! Hopefully next week if all goes well. Thank you again for the video! Greatly looking forward to the next one! Very curious to see what faction you pick!

I can totally see where you’re coming from with the keeper! I just feel like the other great demons were a better price for their cost but i will have to check out that build and roll it. The Arther blade is something that looks good but most characters are going to pack a ward save but I think you’re thinking behind it is sound because I was thinking in terms of fighting other big characters I should think of it as him fighting a unit. He’s got the potential to clear ranks which shouldn’t be underestimated or even to maybe hunt down other things like stream tanks chaos stuff like that For sure warriors of chaos. I’m a fanboy 🤣

I liked the way the dealt with the Demons in 6th Ed.. pre-Storm of Chaos atleast.. A pure demon army never really felt like a good addition..

Like I think it’s cool to look at but I do miss the way it worked In 6th where your general made that race core. I like the de materialize gimmick but I do wish they kept the double ones and blink back into reality!

@@tabletoptyrant9573 Ah yeah, that´s how it was. With a daemon prince or something, daemons were actually core? Forgot that. But you saw, atleast here, moxed Chaos Armies. Or Warriors with some daemon support or Beastmen. I am not afan of pure daemons.. Hard to balance and never found it fun to face..

@@ja37d-34 I agree they all played well off of each other and that is one thing I thought was a missed opportunity when they did the ravening hordes
