NH, try using blue light filter on your phone and monitors after sun goes down and not use screens at all 30min+ before bedtime. Even if the weather sucks try and get outside for at least 30min, even just sitting on a chair. Ive been there too bro, these things all helped me and maybe they help u 2

I have a friend with a sleeping disorder that changes how his circadian rhythm works. He used to have to take melatonin or other things to fall asleep and could not for the life of him get on a normal sleep schedule no matter what he tried. However, he recently has discovered that what has helped him be able to fall asleep at night is eating breakfast very shortly after waking up. My guess (not a scientist here) is that the food jumpstarts his circadian rhythm, which is why since he typically skipped breakfast and just started with work, his body would not think it's been awake long enough for sleep until much later.

insomniac here, I feel ur pain NH. recently I've been getting better sleep by reading before bed, stopping screen use 1-2 hours before bedtime (the hardest part for me lol), and taking melatonin (I had to take it every night for a few weeks before I noticed it started to help me personally). when I do cave in and use my phone before bed, I have it on lowest brightness and use turn on Reduce White Point & Night Shift settings in iOS. if you're on PC before bed, I recommend using flux or blue light filter glasses to limit blue light levels as you wind down. also exercising or even just going on a walk really every evening helps me. hope you get some sleep man

work out before bed, and take melatonin 5-10 minutes before you lay down. melatonin doesnt work well if you just lay in bed watching youtube, so try to actually fall asleep. put on some peaceful music or a podcast/video that relaxes you (even if its noobhunter). set an alarm on your phone for 90 min before you want to be asleep. turn off other devices at that point and soon, you'll find yoursel asleep within half an hour.

For good sleep, stop looking at screens 1 hr before you go to bed, and try deep breathing (4 sec inhale; 8 sec exhale). Also, mind altering substances mess with your circadian rhythms. And limit caffeine to, at the latest, 8 hrs before you go to sleep. Best of luck!
