@@thesilliestgoose5990 I'm not my guy I'm just basically saying let people enjoy what they want to enjoy I dont watch this stuff all the time but the odd time I get a good chuckle out of it so while I understand your opinion about ai content and I do agree with you too a point we still have to let people enjoy it.
@@aaronbozack830 until it gets out of hand if the format starts making lots of money then companies will adopt said format reminds me of mafia city aka false advertising combined with mass spamming. And of course many companies ( mostly Chinese’s mobile apps) adopted the format.
I also hate tiktok culture, my attention span is now so short I can barely get through a 25 minute episode of a show Im following without distracting my self with something constantly. I hate the half screen is some subway surfer, I hate the annoying music, I hate the supposedly quirky and funny videos, I hate the normie clothes, I hate the stupid tiktok way of talking, I hate the beauty channels and I hate the movie clips, I hate the pointless workout tips that would never work in reality, I hate the algorithm, and I hate the politics, and I especially hate the people talking about things they know nothing about.
Sounds like it's time to distance yourself from social media some. I'd recommend picking up a hobby or two that help fill some of the time gaps and make you feel good for accomplishing something. Good luck out there and good job recognizing those feelings.
I'm glad you're self aware enough to want things to change, and I hope you find ways to help with keeping attention. I've always struggled with that. Like Don said, hobbies help a lot, and getting away from the internet is heavenly. I like to research things online, or make music when I feel too distracted. And if I get overwhelmed, I'll usually go out to my camp in the woods for a few hours. Maybe do some art, sewing, or start exercising. You could go on walks too, to satisfy your brain's need to be active. Unrelated, but also remember to hydrate.
It pains me to say this, as I didnt want to believe this as well - but less sugars, a little work out and learning to meditate daily will easily tripple your attention span. Its also possible you're merely distracting yourself, from things you should be doing (by your own standards) with shallow things and then distracting yourself from realising what and why you're doing it. At least thats what I was doing. May you walk on warm sands, friend.
I am not capable of doing two things at once. I either would be paying my full attention to "Subway Surfers" or listening to Dagoth Ur. If I try to do both, I will succeed at neither.
