We're going to spawn Dagoth Ur and Vivec in Seyda Neen and let them fight it out! This is the first of a Morrowind deathmatch series so let me know any good suggestions in the comments below! #morrowind #dagothur #vivec
3:24 The Scrib was actually disappointed that he was late to the Dagoth Ur vs. Vivec battle that was advertised. That's why he left instantly. Poor old Scrib :(
The irony of Dagoth asking you "HOW CAN YOU KILL A GOD?" while you toggle god mode really just tickles me. You know what would be cool tho? A bracketed tournament between all major NPCs- everyone from Caius to Vivec to that weird wizard fella who married his daughter clones.
@@MickyD Good ideas for potential fights, and I'd also like to see Yagrum Bagarn fight too, hah. If you want to do more NPC fights, then it's probably easier if you used the Morrowind construction kit to make a mod that sets it up; it's fairly easy to learn and there's a good wiki for it. You could do something like duplicating the NPCs and creating factions for them that aggro on sight, then place them somewhere in the world (copy the Vivec Arena maybe), and just disable AI before you load the area.
@@MickyD Coming in two months late on this, but could you just make a plugin that sorts Fargoth and Vivec into factions that are immediately hostile to each other? I know you could do that in the later ES games. Dunno for sure about Morrowind.
I love how you couldve done this anywhere, the dedicated arena in Vivec City, but you choose the middle of Seeyda Neen with mass casualties as a result
Dagoth Ur is such a bro. Imagine any other final boss telling the player that they’re not ready to fight them - after a friendly/flirty greeting no less!
Oh, so all Vivec had to do all these centuries, is just get his ass to the center of Red Mountain and slay Dagoth Ur. But no, he decides to sit there in his temple while a mortal just come from jail, levels up enough to fight Dagoth Ur and his hosts alone.
They’ve killed him before and knew he existed the problem is that he tied his soul to the heart of lorkhan so he comes back to life over and over and slowly grows in power over centuries. They couldn’t resolve it because the heart would have to be destroyed and they could no longer be gods if they did that. So they just sort of winged it hoping Ur wouldn’t become powerful enough to take the heart. Until he actually did.
Yeah, Dagoth's Urs ambition for Morrowind is problematic for Vivec and the Tribunal, but his existence is beneficial because that means they stay immortal as well. It's a coin toss really over what the better approach is for them but they ultimately acted with inaction. To kill Dagoth Ur is to effectively kill themselves too but Vivec at least takes an "Ehh, whatever happens" approach and let's destiny sort itself out.
@@ledpryr you would have thought though, that they could have found some way to protect the heart of lorkhan from him, like seal it away with their combined supreme magic or whatever if I was vivec my reasoning to do nothing would be to be bored by my absolute power and wanting some drama ;D
1. he created the wrong one Dagoth Ur . there is already aggressive and 2. he cannot be killed, he will appear again. ( and his hp regen is super strong. you can only kill with 1 hit. drinking a bunch of power potions. Replay the game only 7 times ) there are also spells in the game that did not begin to be used - with the name shields Dagoth hurray are very imbalansed . It is also known that Vivec has the largest soul in the game (1000), after Almalexia (1500).
Dagoth: _"What a fool you are. I'm a God. How can you kill a God?"_ Micky D: _"So I've put on godmode so he doesn't attack me and stop combat. Okay. Now he's calm."_ Dagoth: **attacks** _"What a grand and intoxicating innocence!"_
2:54 Oh yeah that reminds me: Vivec is the only NPC tagged as "essential" that isn't actually essential. You can steal his plans and bring them to Yagrum and he'll tell you how to beat the game.
@@jrsturmvvehr802 dangit I knew it I'm not hallucinating when I fought some random guy and the essential message popped in, played through the entire main quest and I didn't once encounter him lmao.
Yagrum is the only essential NPC if not using exploits. You can kill everyone else and still finish the game. With exploits, you can kill everyone and still finish the game.
There's ways to making a Sotha Sil NPC. Bethesda used the Corprus Stalker face for him and there's already armor for the poor Dunmer. Just put two and ten together, now I got the urge to make a Sotha Sil
Fun fact this is actually the doomed universe you create whenever you kill anyone important you’re forever stuck there being forced to fight and die over and over as MickyD revives or respawns you time and time again for his own simple entertainment
The multiple Vivecs vs multiple Dagoths is the kind of random, silly fight I'd make up in Total War: Warhammer xD Btw, having Vivec fight Dagoth Ur really is kinda lore friendly, always found the story of Nerevar and the Tribunal one of the saddest stories in TES history. Awesome content man
They did fight multiple times in the past, Tribunal was usually winning but Dagoth and his vampire boys always came back thanks to Heart. Until Sotha Sil and Almalexia lost the tools. Vivec managed to force Dagoth to retreat, but damage was done.
If you use the construction set you can create a bunch of different Dagoths and Vivecs then add them to opposing factions and I think they should duke it out. It works for oblivion at least :)
0:45 Well, it was a protagonist's starting point. It is one of the few points that you can guarantee the protagonist will be. The game calendar also starts there, so it is impossible for the protagonist to not be in that place, at that time. You could also go on and on about how it is the start of the journey and all that. But honestly, if you absolutely wanted to subvert fate and murder the guy- that is the place to do it.
I'm very late to the event, but a suggestion to get them to fight each other would be to use a combination of Frenzy and Chameleon to anger them and hide yourself. To be safe, put them in a cell with no other NPCs. It might help to you use the Construction Set to create some custom items or cells for events like this in the future.
Idea for getting the groups of npcs to brawl: Go to a spellmaker and create a magnitude 100 frenzy humanoid for 1s on touch/target spell. Cast it when further away from the groups than they are to each other. Its been over a decade since I have played but there's a chance that the Dagoths and Vivecs will assign friendly status to themselves and only attack the other group. It may just cause a free for all blood orgy but it would still be cool to see.

you could actually use dremora to fight them if u do the summoning glitch with soul trap on target/summon dremora for 1 second pretty much u gotta cast it when looking directly at the ground.
So happy to see morrowind gaining back its popularity, been with TES since daggerfall, and morrowind still is the best TES game to date. Keep up the great content!
I remember the first time my buddy and I made it to Dagoth Ur, I drank 250 some-odd Sujamma and an also absurd number of skooma and literally swung once and killed Dagoth Ur lmao. I also had some other funny stuff going on, like a 5,000+ foot high tower of random books, pots, bowls and other what-have-you's stacked one ontop of another, on a random blacony in Balmora, that I somehow managed to drop an item at the very top of that you could stand on lmao. Good times, good times. My buddy and I used to setup 2 T.V.s in a tent in his backyard and play Morrowind the entire weekend.
To be fair, Dagoth Ur isn't incredibly powerful, just evil, annoying and immortal. Essentially whenever Dagoth Ur is slain he'd just return due to the heart. And if the heart was destroyed it'd wreck the rest of the tribunal gods' existence.
You need to use the construction set, clone the two NPC's in it and give them enemy factions while also removing all the original factions. Then spawn in the clones and they will automatically fight each other. You could also clone the arena interior and place a bunch of them in the CS with a door to it anywhere in the world, start the game outside the door, turn on god mode and disable AI, go in and get ready to film the action, when ready enable AI and they will go to town the second they see each other while ignoring you. 10 minutes work to make the arena version. 2 minutes the spawn in.
You can use a large AoE Enrage effect to get them all upset at once, but then it would be a Free for All. I think you can assign them to a faction and then make those factions hate each other via console.
I like your face offs, but just a suggestion why not do it in the Vivec Arena? Much more contained and large space to have massive fights. Be like The MMA on steroids.
No Vivec can't destroy Dagoth Ur in two hits, didn't you see, that was just a Kage Bunshin of Dagoth, a shadow clone. Remember when fighting Dagoth just outside Lorkhan's chamber, he just disappeared after defeat. That was just a shadow clone that you spawned, not the real deal inside the heart chamber.
