Another question. Why is this video recording software needed if the video es recorded on the nvr since the bulk of the video is about you changing the options on this bandicam software?
The software is built into the camera. That isn't bandicam. You access that via the ip address of the camera. You set the same settings in whichever DVR / NVR you'll be using. Personally I use BlueIris but youll need a powerful pc for that.
@@UpcomingJedi There isn't one answer to suit your question. There isn't enough information about your system or setup. If you have other HD cameras you'll need even more space. If you only want storage for 7 days then a 1TB hard drive could work. But if you want more than one camera, let's say 4 or 5 HD or UHD cameras then you should get 4TB at least. Also depends on the frame rates you're recording at etc. If recording at 25fps it will use data quicker than 15fps.
Dahua cameras do very well in low light situations but this particular camera doesn't have built-in IR lights. (infrared) You will need a light source in the room or outside.
