Hey man nice installation video of everything very descriptive straight to the point, and I like your eagerness to have everything neat and clean as possible‼️
Love what you have been doing to this truck. I have a 07 NBS Silverado Extended cab and I removed all my seats, center console, carpet and pad, and door panels and put Boom Mat on all surfaces. I also bought a product by Second Skin that is a sound barrier and installed that in my rear seat bottom and the back of my rear seat, plus under my carpet in the back between the factory insulation and carpet. On the doors I did the Boom Mat and also used the Boom Mat acoustic spray. It makes for a very quiet truck. Have not got the courage to remove my headliner yet. One thing I really like about your work is I also have been doing work on the 2006 Yukon Denali. Just did the LED's on the interior lights. Nice to have with us falling back in time.
Time lapse and tunes makes this such a "satisfactory" video. The work you're putting in to your daily is impressive. Your patience level must be high, haha!
I did my entire truck cab with Kilmat and it made a huge difference. I hope you enjoy when you get her back on the road. My 06 Silverado single cab is Barb.
The truck is coming back together nicely Travis. I have seen the Kilmat used in other videos. They say it is way quiet compared to before. I can’t wait to see your take on it. The carpet looks like it would be a nightmare to get formed to the contours of the floor. You will get it fitting like it’s supposed to be. Can’t wait to see what you do next. Oh by the way , my son and I saw a brand new White Corvette our local Casey’s. Omg!
@@TWAMotorsports good evening Travis it's Saturday evening and my wife had a date night because I've been putting in alot of my time in my TA...so I took my wife out to Manhattan where the city never sleeps lol.. have a safe rest of your weekend
@@TWAMotorsports good Sunday evening Travis. I don't mean to bother you but can you give me some info on that transmission dolly you have that your transmission is setting on... Thank you Keith..
I literally just came back inside, from installing the same center console in my 06 crew cab, put the TV on RU-vid and there you are about to install a center console…weird. I love that Killmat! I put some in my 49 3100. It would be a hell of a job without a roller. I also used a heat gun on the killmat to make it roll even easier, but it was winter when I did it. I really want to find a way to tap the vents into the hvac box so the rear vents on the center console work. Just not sure the best way to go about doing it yet🤔
Just get a good carpet solution agitate with a drill brush and pressure wash the oem stained carpet repeat as needed till all stains are removed and suck up excess water with a carpet extractor or wet vac. Let air dry this should avoid the stiff feeling carpet after. Should save you time and money and the headache of messing with the aftermarket carpet plus it will be oem fitting . Just my opinion trucks coming out great either way
In the update please let us know how the killmat works. I'd take my 08 apart and do it if it made difference. The 08 has a lot of factory sprayed on stuff on the floors, but a better ride would be nice.
@@TWAMotorsports I got you that was very vague to ask but I want an extended cab project to either lower or lift on my own I'm weary of other people's work I worked at a car dealership and saw some janky stuff
The killmat was a nice touch and the camera actually had a good clear view in the head unit. Can’t wait to see everything finished up and also how quiet the cabin has got!👍🏽
