Finally someone with a good sized tank! All the little cages make me really angry. If you do not have the time, space and money to properly care for a pet do not get one.

One of the best Gerbil vids. Love the Ikea Deltof tank (my next upgrade) sand bath, wooden wheel, burrowing area, scatter feeding. You've really satisfied their essential needs, digging, nibbling, space and gerbil company. I wish all owners gave their gerbils this level of care.

i have gerbils but THEY are such a racket at night. one is called Lilly a black one and the other is called Sophie. Lilly is a plump one SHE is cook cook at night. but they are still cute :3

Oh, god. I love them. Unfortunately, my family is not really fond of them, since they are quite similar to mice. Their name in Polish is even similar to 'mice'. And my dear parents think that big cage/aquarium is a waste of money as an habitat for any pets that are not fish😢. But I will get them one day, even if it means I have to remove my furniture to get enough space for them😏.

My gerbils are great pets and so interesting! I have wooden houses and bridges, cardboard tunnels and any uncoated cardboard for chewing too. I bought the biggest gerbilarium I could find (I have two gerbs) but this one looks great.

What are all of the supplies in the cage in this video including the cage? I have a 20-gallon fish tank for my gerbils and am thinking of upgrading.

Can someone help me with the gerbil care routine I assembled? I want to make sure this is how to care for gerbils. Let me know if I missed something or I need to remove something. Thanks. Also is a 20 gallon long good for 2 gerbils? I know hamsters are a different story but many people say this is the minimum for 2 gerbils Feed(daily) (healthy brand name gerbil food) Feed veggies, fruits(2x a week) in place of the brand name or as an addition Feed treats(weekly or so) (nuts, seeds, etc) Spot clean(daily) (either scoop out soiled bedding(usually just a corner) and replace it or if they use the dust bath then scoop out and replace regularly(weekly) Refill water(daily or as needed) Clean water bottle(weekly) Full clean(monthly) replace beddng, clean tank, clean toys, clean wheel, etc A reply is GREATLY appreciated because gerbils seem a good fit for me but just want to be assured of my regular routine. Thanks

My gerbil (her sister died) makes a lot of noise at night and when I have sleepovers my friends can't sleep cuz of her but I find it relaxing

Hi so i have four gerbils 2 boys and 2 girls and one of the boys got out and escaped and i tried to catch him but i catched him by his tail i know it was bad to do that but i had no choice he was really fast and i put him back on his cage and now really aggressive and he keeps biting me and i now wear gloves and i treat him well but now he keeps biting me and i dont panic i just gently push his nose back, pls help i dont know what to do...

So I got a gerbil from the pet store and she isn't really eating her food. I'm kinda worried about her because I never see her eating, drinking or running on the wheel. I can’t have a wheel for my gerbil. She just eats everything in the cage so I can’t have plastic or any wood that I don’t want destroyed. They even ate the plastic rum on the top of their tank

Just got my Gerbils today buy one get one free they are adorable. :3 20 gallon tank setup for now I'll get that ikea thing soon. I'll post a video soon. Couldn't capture getting them be too awkward and I was by myself getting them. I think I have two females one is black I think I might name her Onyx and the other one is Ghast it's whiteish gray; eyes have a little red in them but it's okay. Was super lucky to get different colors in the same litter, otherwise I would have to of separated them.
