Why create a whole character with this unique concept only to kill him off. Just have Chisa die it in front of everyone instead. That’s more sudden and unexpected and she was trying to die anyways so have it look like she did it on accident. Perfect! #bandaideserveslove.

He wasn't really my favorite character, but I felt so annoyed that he died despite having an antidote given to him immediately while Kyoko survives after getting the antidote a couple hours later from her "death"
it was probably because he was the only visibly black character and not a fan favorite that could be used for fanservice (not saying kyoko's a fanservice character, but... well, the bunny figure exists so it's a likely case)
that's Tia Ballard as Daisaku, the same woman who voices the flying kitty angel thing Happy from Fairy Tail no wonder he sounds so cute, and what a twist with the voice of Daisaku by giving him a cutesy girl voice, it's like how Ryoma Hoshi has a deep baritone voice like James Earl Jones

@Ben Fritchley Considering that almost half the participants either really hate each other (Seiko, Sonosuke, Ruruka) or are violent by nature (Juzo, Munakata), a fight was guaranteed to break out sooner or later.
Its a shame how he only exists to example forbidden actions, despite the fact we already got an example by Monokuma himself. Wasted potential, even more so than Gozu and Sohnosuke.

Monokuma Facts: Day 1 Daisaku contrasts Ryoma from NDRV3 because Ryoma looks like a child with a deep voice, and Daisaku looks like a man with a childish voice! No but seriously I love this guy, and I was SHOOK when he died. I didn't want to continue watching Future Arc, but I had to for plot convenience. Then Gozu, Kizakura and Izayoi died, then Sakakura died, and I cried.
It makes me sad that he only last an episode and a half. It took 2 seconds for me to grow attached to that pure soul of his and then they kill him off. How is it that Danganronpa always kills the pure hearted buff people, that's just disrespecting Sakura, Nekomaru, Gonta, Great Gozu, and Bandai! 😤😭😭😭😭 Rest in peace to all the nice buff people in this franchise!

I mean, I see where you're coming from(with him having the afro and stuff), but that doesn't mean it's necessarily racist. There are a bunch of black guys who have afro, goatees, which makes this a little more on the stereotypical side, but not really racist? Also, I feel like the writers chose the best design for him, cause it makes him look intimidating with that feminine voice of his. And I'm not saying that other races can't be intimidating either.
