One thing that people hold against Cam is his completion percentage with Stephen A Smith brings up but ignore the fact that Cam really pushed the ball down the field. He wasn’t in a West Coast system where the passes were shorter.
He played in an outdated system before Norv came in 2018. The system he played in most of his career was run first and mainly relied on deep or medium throws. It didn't rely on checkdown passes until C-Mac got there.
Dallas has three future Hall Of Fame Offensive Linemen. They had Amari Cooper, who went over 1,000 every year he was there. Zeke Elliott, who was prime for 3 years. Dallas also had top defensive players for most of Dak's career. Cam played with Steve Smith Sr. Only for 3 years, Johnathan Stewart, who was out of his prime after that Super Bowl run, and Greg Olsen. Panthers did have some pretty solid defenses, though, but no Hall Of Fame Linemen.

Even though his accuracy wasn't great, it was nowhere near as bad as people make it out to be.The reason why he had a lot of seasons where he has barely thrown 60% or less of his passes is because the offense he was playing in before Norv became oc in 2018. Cam's first seven years played in an offense that mainly relied on deep and medium thrown balls and hardly any checkdowns. It was a run first offense with him , DeAngelo, and J-Stew, even though Newton threw for 4000 yards and rushed 700 more his rookie season.

Based on the stats Dak is the better passer and Cam the better runner. Cam made it to the SB while Dak has not even been to a NFC championship game. They are both good players, but Cam has a better college resume for sure. I believe Newton was fantastic during his peak, but due to the beatings he took for being a running quarterback, it didn’t last long. His accuracy was not top notch either. I believe many people liked mim as a player, but not as a person because of his antics. Dual threat QBs rarely win Super Bowls.

The only reason Dak has stats like an "elite QB" is solely because majority of his stats are padded. All his stuff comes in garbage time, which lets him always be in the top 10 QB stats every year.

Check Dak's win/loss record. He came into the league in 2016. The only QBs with more wins during that time are Tom Brady and Pat Mahomes. Anybody that says he's padding stats is either a hater or repeating BS media narratives.
That's not true. In 2020 Dak was leading the NFL in passing yards for 2 weeks after he got hurt because he was playing out of this world. It wasn't garbage time that he accumulated those stats because the cowboys won or almost won most of those games. They've finished 12-4 for the past 3 seasons so they were winning games. He wasn't stat padding it's the fact that they had to throw the ball because Zeke's production slowed down and they had to throw to have a chance at winning. This year they didn't have much of a run game so again they had to rely on Dak's arm to win.
