+purple rose I find this funny as I was literally about to comment on the fact that I thought she didn't have a personality :S She's very awkward and bland in my opinion.
I dont wanna seem rude but ellen is trying very hard to make her feel calm and at ease but its just doesnt seem to work with dakota. she's just too socially awkward but i still find it adorable.
"Has ur dad seen it? No" "Has ur mom seen it? No" "Has ur grandma seen it? Yes" Idk WHAT her grandma did to her but my grandma would whoop me all the way from the theatre
Me too ahaha. Jamie Dornan also says his wife hasn't seen the film, I'm like, bitch you don't even believe what you're saying ahah, ofc she's seen the film xD
Because she has to but I don't think she really knew what she was getting into. Im just saying it because she looks uncomfortable every time someone asks her about the movies. :/
+Mariposa Doncella She doesn't have to be in the sequel if she doesn't want to. So she doesn't regret it at all. They can easily find another Anastasia.
Marwan elhefny Emilia was elected first however turned it down. Felicity would have been better correct - can't wait for her to star in Inferno. Movie should be good
I love the Movie, love the characters, and the affection between them is intense, love it, love it. I could watch it over and over..I had read all the books and it really give you an insight about their relationship and the characters..love it, love it......
+Tracy M have to agree with you too ! people who actually read the books and understand the storyline will understand the movie better. oh gosh, can't really wait for Darker...such a cliff hanger at the end of the movie :(
she is just like Kirsten Steward. The faces she makes when they ask her about the movie that made her famous. You knew it would be like that so stop it!
I really disagree, and Kristen was very proud of being in Twilight. Maybe she's sick of going into every interview about a new film but all they ask is about Fifty Shades, her reactions I don't blame her. She's a great actress.
I don't think Dakota should be ashamed of the movie. she, acting that movie, only shows how professional and talented she is. And besides she really killed it. I love her ❤️ ❤️
+Filip Pham i agree my first thought was that she looks tired, but she seems just like she is in the movie tbh, like she's a little awkward but not annoyingly awkward, the good kinda awkward
Agreed, it's a film about an abusive relationship- and no one would have watched it if the guy wasn't rich and influential. Is there another aspect I'm missing?
How was it an abusive relationship when she was a willing, consenting adult the entire time they were together? When she wanted out, she left. When she wanted him back, she returned. Him being rich had no effect on Ana either and that's mentioned numerous times in the book. So yes, there are lots of aspects that you are missing.
Sarah Berkner I see a guy that was abused as a child without knowing it from an older woman. He thinks that this is how life is supposed to be and Ana shows him that there is something different. She shows him love and actually points out that what he knew was actually child abuse. If you read all three books then you would see that.
I love Dakota! She is charming, cute and pretty. She looks natural and not made up unlike other actresses. She is honest, does not care what others think (she has a good sense of humor by making fun of herself) and means what she says. I observed from previous interviews that she is quite intelligent. She is very observant and prefers not speaking too much in interviews.
I am such a fan of Ms.Johnson IDK what it it about her ,but she has got me hooked.I have seen most of her work. And each character is different. She is a true talent. She inspires me.
Ellen always makes me smile. She's such a natural. I had never seen Dakota's work until 50 Shades, and I had to see the film twice for her to grow on me. Now, I actually like her. She's a great actress.
H 1998 It is a no for me though I’m glad I didn’t pay for it for my mom I’m gonna say no because you know how she is but her Sotos and I so I have an of that so you know how she is but that
Her parents already said they wouldn't watch those movies. Grandma is another story xD. But i wouldn't be surprised if more open-minded parents would watch them.
I have yet to see ONE interview where Dakota or Jamie, whether together or separate, seem at all interested in promoting 50 shades of grey or darker... They always seem unhappy in fact, very. It makes it even more difficult to enjoy them on screen knowing they seem so damn miserable.
Jessica Beckett that's what I was thinking. although to be fair, even though they're in an explicit movie, it must be so uncomfortable to have strangers always ask about the sex scenes constantly. And then they mention Jamie's wife, Dakota's nudity blah blah blah. must be hella awk
i recently start watching their interviews and i feel the same way.. its like they're annoyed or not interested..but i was also thinking maybe thats jus who they are.. idk.. but it is upsetting that they don't seem interesting in speaking about it..i love ana and christian in the book. but i feel like dakota and jamie are kind running it for me /:
Sabrina Hossain The woman who wrote FSoG wrote it at first as a fanfiction for Twilight, but then she changed the names and formed totally new characters and Fifty Shades of Grey came to be...
I LOVE her and I think that she is so brave because she played in the movie that even her parents didn't watch it and she knew that there will be so many people to judge her . we shouldn't forget that was just a movie not her real life . 💜💜💜💜
aww she's so sweet :) I think she gets abit shy sometimes, cant wait to see more of her work in the future :) she did an amazing job as ana in fifty shades, it's exactly how i imagined her :)
+Lucy Sun It was meant to provoke a response because Dakota, along with Kristen Stewart and Robert DeNiro are known as being terrible interviews because they are frankly too low key and boring for tv interviews.
+Lucy Sun ; As much as it can be an interview technique to provoke a response that's more than two words long, I think it's also because she likes to tease her interviewees.
I feel she didn't really mind if her family watched fifty shades of grey but Ellen kept saying 'oh but you don't want them to watch it' so she was like 'mmm no'. So what if it's a S&M romance film?? Should actresses be shamed of their films when there's sex in it? All those actresses in the Game of Thrones should be unwilling to let their family watch the show then?
No she actually would mind. You can tell when Ellen first asks her if her mom has seen it then she has that "what kinda question is that" look on her face.
+Kristian Saldanha When ellen asked her 'has your dad seen the movie?' (a question that implies '...seen the movie in which his daughter has s&m sex', that ellen rarely asked other actors), she denied and it could mean either she didn't want her dad to see OR she had the experience of being like 'hey dad do you wanna go see my new movie?' and her dad was like '...no.' But then, after ellen asked this question and she denied, ellen immediately said 'you don't want your dad to see the movie.' It's really just an assumption and she then responded with such a low 'yeah...'. Well anyway, that's just my instinct mostly that ellen assumed an actress would be really embarrassed and ashamed at doing a movie like this. But why would they? It's just acting.
Emilia Clarke has told that her mom and dad both watch GOT. I guess that's not awkward because in GOT there's actually some interesting story, and well she acts quite well in there. But fifty shades is all about sex, it's half porn. So that's why I think Dakota's parents didn't see it!
Jessica Rabbit If i was an actress, i would always be proud of my work and want all my family to see it. do you really think that the actresses (oh and probably not the actors right? it's something only women/actresses should feel awkward about) would not want their family to see their films (which they put a lot of work into and was part of their career) as soon as they got some naked/sex scenes?
Wow people are so rude and judgmental. What do you people have against shy people?? Why can't you accept people for who they are. I love Dakota's timid nature, it makes her even more beautiful in my eyes and more relateable too
