This is the fist Thirty odd seconds of Dalek Tales as ive had many people asking is it really happening you said before and it never did. so here you go (this is still rough and things will change).
Hey guys I know you where expecting it soon but my computer burnt out and I can't afford a new one so unfortunately. till I get parts for a new model and rebuild alot of models. it won't be done soon sorry but it will happen so don't worry
chase lowrey I have done work for K9 and there is a book with my work in it and explaining about the redesign I worked on, and some doctor who a long time ago. Sadly this isn't canon just fan fiction.
Awesome work! I've always meant to comment and congratulate you on 'The Dalek that Time Forgot'... my 4yr old watches it religiously and still doesn't believe me that green paradigm Daleks don't exist, thanks to your excellent work in making them look so awesome and realistic. His other love are the Cybermen- so the idea that these guys are in the next episode? You're going to blow his mind. Good luck with finishing it!
Oh god I'm so fucking hyped for this! I hadn't even thought about subscribing to Lee until about three months ago. I remember watching the original Dalek Tales as a kid, and loving everything about it, cannot wait to see what the daft bugger's gone and cooked up for us once more
Yes! So good to see some Dalek action from you once more. Your animations are some of the best un-official content to come from the franchise; and your vocal work is still as fantastic as ever; especially now that you've added Cybermen to the mix. Looking forward to seeing it!
I still have a long way to go, so many things to model and rig. but I'm getting the shots I can do now out of the way, there is only so much modeling I can do without going mental doing UV mapping lol.
Lee Adams oh I feel ya there. The only thing I hate doing more than UVs is blendshaping. I imagine the must make working wih cyborg creatures very appealing
Daleks experimenting on the Cybermen? Damn..I guess I'll have to think of a new story if I ever get to be a Doctor Who writer...good luck with this, this looks incredible already. Serious talent.
What animation software is this ? This is bloody brilliant cant wait to see dalek tales make a return plus with daleks v cybermen (up to date) the battle ive been waiting for
YES! I cannot wait. The Dalek that Time Forgot is something that I love so much that I have convinced many people that they have to watch it after watching "Victory of the Daleks!"
This looks amazing! I hope it sorta ties in with Magician Apprentice/ Witch's Familiar in some way. Sorta like how Dalek that Time Forgot filled in some gas for that era of Dalek history.
sorry but there won't be any more teaser till part one is released hopefully before Xmas if not January, I still have a long way to go. so hopefully the pain eases lol.
Scott Fitzgerald I used c4d to model, light and render. and I use maya to rig and animate the characters. as to how I animate if your interested in animation I would get the Richard Williams animation survive kit book, which will show you the animation principles but I would strongly suggest a online course such as animation mentor, I animate and animschool. also check out 11 second club forum they may help get you started.
Scott Fitzgerald no problem, and as for the voices I use a moogafooger ring modulator like nick briggs. but there are programs out there that have ring modulators and it's all down to how you deliver the lines. years of dalek shouting will do :P
