I'm only 7 minutes in, but really enjoying this podcast. I think I enjoyed the first part of this Doctor Who episode, but the second part falls flat for me.

I so wish that the Cult of Skarp had stayed. imagine how much more dangerous the Daleks would seem if it was always the same ones that kept coming back, that no matter how hard the Doctor tried they could never defeat them - and might sometimes even lose to them. It would make it so much more suspenseful than having the Doctor just destroy billions of them every second episode.

I'm surprised Big Finish haven't used them in a major way in an audio. It would be interesting to see what they attempted to do during the Time War prior to choosing to go into The Void.

I honestly think this is one of my favourite Dalek stories of all time. It was a compelling tale Dalek Sec always had the valid point of the Daleks not being supreme because they were always failing, particularly when the Doctor was involved.

On the subject of the daleks having slaves didn't they use the Ogrons at one point? my memories of classic who are really hazy but I remember something like that
