Key game for Dallas in more ways than one. What was on the surface an impressive win was characterized by an uneven defensive performance due to lack of intensity. After the game Jimmy Johnson went off and the Cowboys played the rest of the year at a different gear.
Thanks for posting these games Ryan. I know I said it before but I have so many of these on VHS and this was one that I don’t think I have recorded. I’d love to go back to those early 90s days, even just for a day!
This was the last NFL Sunday of NFC era CBS camelot 4 days after this game, the upstart FOX network shockingly outbid CBS to gain the right to NFC games in 1994. Thus, CBS would no longer broadcast NFC games after over three decades.
This is the only game of the 90’s era I have never seen as it wasn’t televised in my area (lions country) and for some reason never had a copy. I was hoping you’d post this one! Thanks Ryan!
@@RyansCowboysCorner I had this problem on some of my videos if I ran other things on my computer at the same time I was recording or saving/editing a video. If I made sure recording/editing/saving was the only thing running and nothing else was running, it was usually ok for me.
@@Ruribitz I'm gonna be mindful of that next time. That very well might be the issue, because not all my mkv files have done this. Probably next week I'll try to fix this game and some others, doing what you just said. Hopefully, it works. Thanks!
@@RyansCowboysCorner Yeah it would be good to re-do just one video to begin with as a test, but saying that, you do a great job and the picture quality is way better than most people's videos of this era of football. Thanks very much for all your efforts.
That game has been blocked by YT. However, I posted that game on my Patreon channel last week. Feel free to subscribe. www.patreon.com/ryanbushcowboys1?fan_landing=true&view_as=public
53:16 Maybe the funniest sack of a QB ever. Charles Haley catches Jim McMahon from behind and rolls Jim in a backwards somersault. Vikings came out on fire. But are only up 6-3 when Dallas' defense wakes up and Minn defensive penalties help Dallas go up 17-6. And the Vikes proceed to recede in the Cowboys rear view mirror. I'd trade two of Eddie Murray's long first half FGs for one short FG on that miserable Thanksgiving Day game a couple of weeks before.
