Alot of people would say yes it does but imo the masters of RD serves a better purpose in the control of Jay Z. Dame will forever be a co founder of Rocafella so his position isn't under threat. He's holding onto one position rather then continuing to hold several positions with Roc Nation at his side. It would be much easy to do Tv and films with Jay Z as a friend then to do that with Jay as an enemy and in terms of the masters people are less likely to ask for songs from him if they know Jay Z isn't cosigning.

That's why Jay gad to sue him to block the sale as Dame doesn't own the full rights. Therefore, you can't sell partial shares as in an NFT. Dame lost the legal battle. Now he's on here lying and saying he just tried to sell the shares. He could easily have talked to Jay or his lawyers and offered a reasonable price if that was the case.

That said, he did help start up the Rachel Roy clothing line, which was reasonably successful, although I doubt it generated anywhere close to the $100 million in revenue that Dame claims.
