I love how direct Dame is. Too many people these days are soft and get uncomfortable when faced with someone who talks so directly like this. Dame don’t get the respect or acknowledgment he deserves. I was really looking for a more on "what Dame Dash is doing" interview, then a run to the "Time Machine" interview and talking about everything that Dame is currently not dealing with shit. This interview got under my skin because I was looking for Dame telling us more about the America Nu Network app that is downloadable (Google Play Store/Apple App Store), his clothing line, sneaker line and all the others thing that are Dame. This is the 2nd time this week I heard a Harlem dude tell someone their bullying them facetiously in a conversation 😂. Outside from that, I wish Dame understood why people ask him questions a certain way. He is the other side of the coin that our culture needs to stand united. Not being willing or interested in how other black people perceive him based on 2nd hand accounts is what is preventing us from fully taking over. Rocafella couldn’t have been what it was without Dame, but what it could have turned into was definitely predicated on them as a whole pivoting from how they were doing business to a using a new model that takes other opinions into consideration. Harlem cats have a confidence in themselves that come off as arrogance to others and not being willing to let your “Harlem guard” down is why we see things happen the way they did. Everyone is where they are, but to imagine what could have been had the 3 of them stayed together is a beautiful thing. Kudos to you guys. I knew Juju and Ray where texting each other immediately as I saw Juju look at his phone.

Great interview! Quick note though. There’s a ground hum going through one of those microphones and I think it’s showing up on the woman’s mic. To stay clear of that issue make sure that your audio equipment is not plugged to the same circuit as your lighting equipment, especially with neon lighting. Hope that helps. 📌
