The underrated thing that has happened is that three way with the Suns. They are getting more loaded and now have a very deep bench.

That starting lineup for Milwaukee looks so stacked. However their perimeter defense just took a major hit. Jrue Holiday is just a monster on defense and is such a great teammate and so consistent. I know that you have to keep Giannis happy but losing Holiday is going to be a major blow. Holiday to me is one of the best two way players in the game

Blazer fans are feeling torn today. We love Dame. He has given this city his all. And we respect him for his loyalty. But we will let him go in the hope he gets that championship ring he so deserves.

Only concern on this bucks team is now backcourt defense, lost holiday, lost Grayson Allen, lost Wesley Matthews and Jevon Carter. Dame is a bucket but he will give up lots of buckets on the other end

Everyone talking about the Bucks and rightfully so but the Suns just got more depth to fill out the roster if Nurk can hold up they just as scary

This season is going to be very interesting like last year given the amount of legitimate title contenders. The most likely contenders: Nuggets Bucks Suns and Celtics stand far above the rest and I'd say they're all pretty close to each other which is going to make for a very competitive season. The other hopefuls: Heat Lakers Warriors and 76ers - These guys are certainly not as likely and have pretty obvious deficiencies as a team but they could play above expectations and make it deep into the playoffs and at that point anything can happen.

Every team in this made out pretty well. Ayton fits the timeline of the young guns of Portland and will also probably get something good if they move Jrue>. In addition the picks could be valuable in the future when Milwaukee might not be as good that far in the future. Portland also sends Dame to a chip contender, which helps them save face to the Portland fans who love Dame. Milwaukee obviously solidifies themselves as a top 3 championship contender + Giannis will likely sign an extension now. Phoenix gets off of Ayton's salary and the drama surrounding him a little more depth with Allen, Little, and Johnson and an ok replacement in Nurkic.

Would love to see Jrue make it back to the 76ers Package Harden and a 2nd round pick and send him to the Clippers, 76ers get Jrue, Blazers get the expiring contracts of Batum/Covington and a few picks from LA/Philly

With the loss of Jrue and Allen, they definitely need to get a two guard whose primary role is defense. Otherwise, the Bucks is gonna be scarier than they already are.

Bucks need to change that offense now...they have the time to adjust and use Lillard properly.

Milwaukee better win this season. Once Giannis signs that extension with Dame owed 60 million a year once his extension kicks in and the 2nd apron of the new CBA kicks in, they will have very little flexibility and a bad supporting cast around those two guys moving forward. Their window is wide open now but it will close sooner than people might expect.

I always wanted Lillard at Milwaukee, but never thought I'd ever see it happen. Sad to see Jrue leave though. That dude was a monster defender. He was a bit hit and miss on offense. Looks like we made the move to become more offensively explosive at the risk of being more exposed on the perimeter. It could never happen, but can you imagine if Jrue agreed to come back to Milwaukee after this year?

The trade Make sense Ayton Needs a fresh start ; Portland wants a reset. Suns will have a good solid bench now. Giannis would finally get that “help” and Lillard will have a chance of winning a title and gets out of highly competitive WC. Everybody wins.

I felt like Jrue was better as more of a pure pg and can play off the ball whenever Giannis or Khris is running the offense. I am just not sure if Dame is willing to play off the ball at times and allow others to initiate the offense. This trade will either make or break the bucks. If they don’t win a championship, they deserve all the criticism coming their way.

This is an interesting trade. This definitely put the Bucks in championship contention, however the Phoenix Suns with the assets they've acquired are now a loaded team. Portland, if they keep Jure Holiday will make the playoffs, if not they are rebuilding and reloading time. We are going to see a very amazing NBA Season.

I think the only thing it could have been better is how the trade requests were made with Dame going public and the Team saying they were not going to send him where he wanted. They could have handled it better privately (IMO), that being said I'm really happy for Dame and Giannis! That is going to be crazy to see, it's like Oscar Robertson and Kareem again, man the Bucks fans must be happy!!

Giannis don’t owe Milwaukee nothing he already has delivered them a championship. If he wants to see how this team plays with Dame before signing any extension, that’s fair. While they’ve improved offensively, their defense has taken a big hit.
