Arrow Season 4 might have been a mess, but I will forever be grateful for Neal McDonough's Damien Darhk casting. Especially once he transferred to Legends of Tomorrow and got a hell of a lot more interesting.
I only watched Arrow at the time and was super confused with the magic stuff and therefore wasnt a fan of Darhk. However, he was one of my favorite characters in the Legends.
@@AlmirYandi20 when he met mallus who was far more evil and monstrous then him he knew exactly of the pain and suffering he caused to so many others and losing someone he loved.
Unlike the other villains Damien just enjoyed it. He just liked using his powers and killing or torturing people. Just being in control felt good. While most other villains decide to do bad things because they felt society itself was bad or they just wanted revenge for a loss of their loved ones. Plus, Damien was really funny in Legends of Tomorrow
@@BRB-ck3jr Don’t forget he isn’t truly evil. He cares and values about his daughter so there is something human and good about him in that regard. Plus he was redeemed later in Legends Of Tomorrow and The Flash. So technically he didn’t stay a villain forever. Overall a fantastic and charismatic villain with a great top notch and charming performance by Neal McDonough as well. 👌
damien darhk was defiantly the best villain to join the arrowverse he was dark but also funny and yet he always found a way to continue living. he survived so well that hes currently in the past lmao
Am i the only one noticed that at 4:14-4:21 when he mentions felicity wheel chair she actually makes a face from shocked and scared to angry and annoyed.
@@mstikdragon2736 darhk throughout season 4 of arrow and legends season 2 and 3 was enjoying killing anyone that stands against him. He cares for only his family. But then he met mallus who was far worse and more evilly monstrous then he was and he knew firsthand what it feels like to to know pain and suffering and losing someone he cared about to a far greater monster!
Damien is easily the best part of arrow s4. And it’s not cause the character is all that good or even written well. Neal just brought this incredible energy and charisma to the role.
@@shamoney5846 darhk has killed so many people while enjoyed doing so except loving his family. When he met mallus who is far more evil and worse then him he knew exactly what feels like to know the pain and suffering he caused to others!
Sara Lance, in my opinion, was a much better match for Darhk in combat, especially since Sara had a lot more experience with the Ra's al Ghul and League of Assassins, was able to literally match his move for move, and she beated him a lot more.
Damien dark was the best villain. He didn’t even need powers. His fighting skills were in parallel to only a few like Ra’s. And then he had his power. If I were him I would’ve just taken over the world not destroy it.
Hi there, I have a question. As you know I love Arrowverse. I want to watch the whole franchise again but I really would love to just rewatch Supergirl. Should I watch the whole thing in order or just a show at one go?
I liked this guy, the actor always has a fun time in the suit of a villain, but he didn't fit to well in Arrow. He with all these crazy abilites should have been more like a Flash villain like the metahumans, couse a good hero and a good villain combination works the best if they are close in power level and they are a match for each other, while Aroo wasn't a challange for him at all he got always beat by the jedi skills easily. And it wasn't that exciting, like when you got Slade Malcolm Chase they were all kinda on par with Oliver so you could be excited for what will happen in each fight. While here you already knew Damian gonna easily neg the team any time they come across. And they had to come up with this random thing of Oliver just all of a sudden learns this magic resisting thing with the yellow eyes like camon, they just realised Damian is to OP for the series and they had to nerf him down. It was almost like Ras Al'Gul he was easily outskilling anybody or even multiple trained assasins like nothing he got 100s of years of experience, then Oliver learns a few weeks-months of Sword fighting and kills him camon dude
I do believe that Damian Darhk gets his powers from Darkseid himself I can tell from the spell incantation that was on his arms from when he healed himself.
If legend call help to beat Malcom, darhk , reverse flash, Savitar: this is for Moria queen and Thea queen ( kill Malcom ) , this is for laurel ( kill darhk ) for reverse flash, Savitar will use eobard to let speedforce spare him .
The last remaining parts is the Prime Example of: I am not afraid of an army of lions 🐝 led by a sheep👿; I am afraid of an army of sheep 👶👧🧒👦👩🧑👨👵🧓👴 led by a lion 🏹.
I was always confused by that though because in season 4 we saw his daughter she was like 7 years old but then all of a sudden in legends of Tomorrow his daughter is like in her twenties like is there some time travel then I missed or did he had a second daughter
If the arrowverse writers understood metaphysical philosophy from different cultures, they could have found more mundane means to bulwark him. Sonic weapons would be great. Certain gases and poisons could inhibit concentration. The flashbang was a good one. However, large groups of mundane individuals engaging in a religious practice targeted towards anti-magic would work as well.
So after Buck Compton got back from fighting the Germans, he worked through his PTSD of seeing Joe and Garnier get blown up, and became an evil magician? Got it
It’s crazy because at first when I saw Danien I did not like him at all but after he was so badass on legends of tomorrow with Malcolm and got to spend time with Barry I thought he was cool
Just think about how far he came greatest supervillain ever scary as f*** more scary than what he was on the show Justified or Walking Tall with The Rock look how far damn you went I mean he became a hero he helped Iris he helped Barry Allen with Armageddon. He's just one perfect example everybody is capable of good you have to reach their heart and his heart was his daughter
Season 4 was definitely one of the weaker Seasons of Arrow, but I prefer it over Season 3 (only slightly). A more entertaining Villain like Dahrk was one of the Reasons why.
Season 4 was a quite bad in my opinion. I think that season 1 was the best - Arrow was a killer back then, and he was very impressive. Season 2 was a little worse, but still amazing. Season 3 was again a little worse than previous series. Then came this... I'm not a fan of season 4. Those few good moments against Damien can't save the season 4, never.
Lmao looks cheap as fuck. Why does he even need to raise his hands to move things? Also he has telekinesis but decided to punch opponents instead of using his powers lmao
Why I found all hollywood super hero movies so funny? non sense powers illogical power representation and illogical stories with stupid multiverses. waste of time
I hated him because he killed Laurel off the show and season 4 of Arrow was there worst Season and the only season dat was bad because they killed a Main character off the show it almost ended there show because the rated of this season had got so low
@@robertrogers074 what are u even talkin about they had flash backs all the way to season 6 and then in season 7 they started doing Flash forwards so what u saying u not making sense you acting like they just started doing flash backs during season 3
@@yourmajesty69 what I'm talking about is the season 4 flashback sucked, I wasn't entertain except when he returned to the island, and Constantine episode.
