I saw him in Memphis on November 12th, 2015. It truly was like being in a fantasy. Everything was beautiful, and surprising, and not surprising, and somethings were unexpected but were amazing. Damien had such a command of his voice, and yet it was at the same time unleashed. And unlike other artists that are considered to be "popular", Damien LITERALLY made music with his voice. He even invited two audience members (sadly I was not one of them lol *cries*) to sing "Cold Water" with him. And he was so happy and genuinely surprised (in a good way) -at the fact that the audience liked to sing along with him-that he actually encouraged active participation by the audience when he sang "Volcano". His songs and music are pure raw emotion, coming from his soul and speaking to the souls of others. This was beautiful experience . I cried at the end. I didn't want it to end. I hope he comes back next year. I hope he comes back-period. That day was simply and effortlessly-amazing.
Saw this show last night in Tampa, Fl. I feel like i am watching the likes of a creative genius at work. Like (from my painters point of view) if i were to be able to go back in time and say actually watch Van Gogh paint. That's how i felt watching Damien Rice perform. Incredible.
Oh, and yes, saw him in Athens, GA last Monday (11/16/15) and it was magic. He’s an amazing artist and I felt so privileged to get to see him live on this short tour. What a brilliant contributor to music. xo

I drove 6 hours to see him in Birmingham Alabama a couple of Sundays ago, the concert was great. The place was very small which was wonderful, but he only played for about an hour. That was the only thing truly disappointing to me. Thanks for the upload of a much longer show.
+daliOtter I know what you mean, I flew for hours from Tbilisi (Georgia) to Rome and then traveled whole night by train from Rome to Taormina to see his concert there and it was magic... Damien, ancient amphitheater, blue sky, starry night and the view of Etna ahead... Frankly, I have no idea how long he sang I was so spellbound. I even saw a shooting star in the dark, listening to Cold Water, and I had NO idea what else could I wish for, lol. I just hope he'll have more concerts somewhere in Europe soon, maybe I'll be a bit more coherent next time around. :)

Yo estuve presente en ese concierto, y cada vez que veo este video me transporto a esa noche, fue simplemente ESPECTACULAR!, de hecho estoy buscando donde hará otro concierto (en alguna parte del mundo) para volver a verlo y escucharlo, simplemente es el mejor artista que tenemos en esta época, afortunados los que amamos su arte.
@@angie1512 igual jaja, bueno hoy es 10 de marzo del 2022, y no tiene giras programadas en ninguna parte del mundo, hace tiempo lo mas cerca que estuvo fue Colombia y me lo perdí, a seguir esperando no mas, saludos.
Veo que muchos pedian canciones muy mainstream de Damo, y que pocos pedian a Dogs o Sand - tal como se escucho por ahi- tambien estaban los que querian las nuevas canciones que era obvio por la promocion al nuevo album. Pero me parecio correcto que el se haya ceñido a su playlist, que en verdad ha sido bueno. De mi parte me hubiera gustado un par de cancioncitas mas. Que tristeza el habermelo perdido, aun no lo supero.
Fue el 31.11.15 , tuve la suerte de asistir, el 30.11.18 se presentará en Colombia, pensaba ir pero se me cruza con otro compromiso, pero me he hecho la promesa de volver a verlo antes de morir.
