Damien Rice & Lisa on KCRW 2003 

"Insane" is an incredible song, yet he's never released a recorded version. I saw his performance at the Henry Fonda Theater in Hollywood many years ago, and the sound system gave out during this song. He stepped away from the microphone and the audience was completely silent as he continued to sing with Vivienne adding spare accompaniment on the cello. It was a stunning, spectacular live moment. That entire night was incredible. What a gift to have been able to see Damien and Lisa perform back then.

Those eyes and the way she look at him explains an ocean of feelings and unspoken words. From that point on tell the camera man take her out of his fram she is just melt down to emotion. Oh how pure is the love.

I skipped through the talking, but Hannigan and Rice have had a whirlwind relationship. They dated during the making of "O." On tour tensions rose and continued to get worse during the recording of "9." The whole situation culminated with Rice firing her from a tour in 2007. In 2009, Rice opened up about what happened and how much he regretted it. He tried to reconnect with her, but she never responded to him. They haven't talked since the night she left the tour.
