Yankee, I'm so glad I found your channel and teachings. You are truly anointed and one of the few pastors still preaching Gospel truth. I used to be a follower of Jimmy Swaggart, but when I discovered he didn't believe in eternal security, and thinks you can lose your salvation I stopped watching their services. (The churches where I live preach mostly false or watered-down Gospels.) Love you in Christ and praying for you!

This is the *BEST* sermon I've ever heard regarding the two natures of a believer. First nature in the first birth (flesh) & Second nature in the Second Birth (The Spirit of God). The flesh does not go away until the day of Redemption.

God bless you! Here's a message for lost souls: Christ died for our sins! Are you saved in the Lord Jesus Christ? Your good works doesn't pay for your bad works, you need a 'payment' for your sins and that is Jesus Christ. You cannot do it alone, Jesus Christ paid it all for you, the only thing you have to do is 'believe' in what He did for you on the cross of Calvary. Jesus Christ is the only cure for sin, so please believe in what He did, His death, burial and resurrection - found in 1 Corinthians 15:1-4, saves lost souls when you truly believe from your heart. Ephesians 1:13, saved and sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise. Jesus Christ is the only way to Heaven, there is no other way. Please get saved now, time is running out!! Eph. 2:8-9 and Titus 3:5

U know when you are married they hold on to love for each other in there marriage it binds them together .. repentance and forgiveness hold these two together .. even though in times before they were married each one have had many affairs .. But these married couples have this connection or communications that no-one else knows about except them it's so unique .. married people in love with each other will begin to look like each other .. faith and trust binds them together ... Same with God we hold on the love for God ... For if one says he loves God but hates his brother..? We hold on to repentance and forgiveness in our hearts because these things binds us together with the spirit of God .. We need to hold on to this connection or communications that we have with God .. and prayer is something so powerful in our walk with God .. in marriage we hold on to these things .. even in our relationship with God we hold on to these things in our heart .. because the spirit of God works from the inside of us ... And what comes out of us ... These things ..( fruit ?) Once saved always saved don't be counciling any body because Yous would make the worse marriage counselors .. U would say .. just get married .. that's it .. 🤔👀🤔👀

I used to watch Swaggart and his channel all the time. In fact, I still do but not as much. When I found that they believe in conditional security (an Arminian doctrine where you must "endure to the end" to keep your salvation) and that if you deliberately sin you'll lose your salvation, I decided to stop watching their sermons. I have heard ppl on their channels and shows say things like "I'm sorry, but you cannot be saved once and keep your salvation if you willfully sin." Or "I used to believe in OSAS but I renounced it and I'm glad I did!" So sad, because they teach all your sins are paid for, then say you can lose your salvation, or have to "endure" to keep it. I used to think they were the most honest and legitimate ministry out there. Now, I think they are still legit, but leading millions into believing dangerous (and IMO even more "damnable") doctrines that will only hinder ppl's walks.

I think people are stuck on the milk and never get to the meat of the word. They don't study the deeper things. They listen to pastors who never get out of the Old Testament, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. They never get into the deep teachings of Paul. They never understand you are a new creation when saved and you are sanctified and justified. If you are a new creation and God sees you spotless because your covered by the blood of Christ, how can you lose it?? A lot of people, even pastors, don't seperate the teaching of the Kingdom to the Nation of Isreal and the Gospel of Grace , the mystery revealed by Christ to Paul. Even the 12 had no idea what Jesus was talking about when he spoke of his death burial and resurrection. It was hid from them and they were awaiting the promised Kingdom. Paul had to even go to Jerusalem and set them straight about works since they were teaching you must be circumcised to be saved. It is amazing how the bible makes complete sence when you rightly divide the Word. Most people blend the whole Bible together and try to make it all fit for us today. Faith plus nothing equals salvation. Praise God
@gregorylatta8159
@gregorylatta8159 Год назад
You are correct. Paul was given the mysteries of the gospel by Jesus himself!!!

They can't grow in the meat because they don't have the milk of the Word right. Justification, sanctification, repentance, etc are all milk, not meat. But, they are drinking the wrong milk. So, the meat has nothing to wash it down and digest it. Without the proper Gospel as the foundation, it doesn't matter what they believe or don't believe. Wrong Gospel = no salvation.
@psalm37v4

It's so important we get past the milk and get into what I call "the meat and potatoes" of the bible. We need to STUDY the scriptures, to find out the what, where, when, why and who of each verse. Otherwise the bible will seem to contradict itself. You cannot read the bible and claim to understand it clearly, because there are scriptures that can easily be misunderstood. I heard so many interpretations of key scriptures I finally got some study notes and a concordance, and really studied my bible. Finally I was able to understand it better than ever. I now LOVE the bible. It's sharper than any two edged sword and full of power!

I wish I had lived better. I have been saved 9 years now and my testimony isn't very good. I became a drug addict and ship wrecked my faith for many years, and now that I'm out the other side it def wasn't worth it. I struggle daily alot to serve God and I truly wish I had served him when I first had the passion and burning zeal for him when he first saved me. I chose the lust of the flesh over the love of God, I lied to myself, saying that I could love God and love certian sins, but you can't. 1st john 2 15-18 is something I am trying to remind myself of on a day by day basis. The lord has blessed me that I am still alive and I have got the privilege of 7 souls saved, but I could do so much more for God if I wasn't choked in thease thorns of lust and sin. The thorns choke you out very slowly. And once they do you can't get out easily! All I can say is PRAISE TO JESUS, that he didn't make us earn heaven. If it was by works I'd be hopeless.

I have read the Bible many times over, not only during the 20 plus years of preaching, but also when getting my Ph.D. in Bible. I always love it when people just say, "Read your Bibles..." That is precisely how we came to our conclusions. I agree with the first part of your statement that "faith is required," but not the second part of your statement. No matter how many righteous acts you perform, no matter what your definition is of how to continue "in the faith," this doesn't save us or keep us saved. It is the Seal of the Holy Spirit that keeps us saved. It is Jesus' cleansing blood that keeps us saved. Even when we are faithless, Jesus is always faithful. In John 5:24, Jesus said, that when we believe, we will not be judged and we have, "already passed (past tense, at the moment of belief) from death to life." It's not "will pass (one day in the future), from death to life." Our salvation is based on the continual cleansing blood of our Lord and Savior. There are overwhelming passages that speak to our eternal security. I suggest you "read your Bible."
@bradholbrooks
@bradholbrooks 5 лет назад
Explain what you mean. Faith in..? What is your faith? How are you continuing in whatever your faith is? My KJB seems to say, By God's grace I was able to place my faith in Jesus Christ for salvation after hearing His gospel. "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." So, if I believe in Jesus, I will not perish? Or, if I start believing in Jesus, and as long as I continue believing in Jesus, I will not perish? Help me out here. I'm pretty sure my faith has wavered throughout the years. Did I lose my salvation? Did I never have salvation because my faith may have wavered? How much would my faith have to waver to lose my salvation, or did God just know that sometime in the future, even though I once believed and I put my faith in Jesus, my faith would waver, so He never actually saved me? What about the Holy Spirit? I thought I was sealed unto the day of redemption, predestined to the adoption. Are you saying it's up to me to save myself, or it's up to me to continue saving myself? You have confused me, maybe even overthrown my faith. Please explain.

Romans 8 28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who[i] have been called according to his purpose. 29 For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. 30 And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified. More Than Conquerors 31 What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32 He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all-how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? 33 Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. 34 Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died-more than that, who was raised to life-is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? 36 As it is written: “For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.”[j] 37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,[k] neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Sherry Todd King Saul was saved, Read 1 Samuel28:19 and 1Samuel 15:35 Saul is an example of a believer who did not live for the Lord after his salvation. He did not lose his salvation, which is impossible. God saves us with "an everlasting salvation" (Isaiah 45:17) and promises that "He will not leave us, nor forsake us" (Hebrews 13:5). Also read PSALMS 89 If you say one can lose his salvation you are saying God is a liar and cannot save a sinner, and that is the flesh talking, youre trying to make the flesh Holy but the bible says the flesh is dead and you are hid in CHRIST,

What does this have to do with salvation? Losing God's spirit is not the same as losing one's salvation. Also there are some passages that suggest that he was still saved. What is amazing to me is that you'll focus on an isolated example out of Jewish history and neglect the 100s of passages that say that our salvation is secure. I guess it's human nature to focus on the negative. God bless you.

Since believing is considered a work of God and not a work of the flesh. John 6:28-29 KJVS Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? [29] Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent. Couldn't someone lose salvation by not remaining in the faith? Colossians 1:23 KJV [23] If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister; Since the Holy Spirit is like a down payment for eternal life Ephesians 1:14 KJVS Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory. We won't actually recieve eternal life until after we have kept our faith until the end. Hebrews 3:14 KJV For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end; So couldn't an excessive amount of sin lead a person to become hardened and fall into unbelief? Hebrews 3:12-13 KJV Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God. [13] But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. Couldn't this be blasphemy of Holy Spirit ? Hebrews 10:26,29 KJVS For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, [29] Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?
@Tristan0182
@Tristan0182 7 лет назад
Terrell Thomas Hello! It seems you're misunderstanding some of these verses. 1. Calvinism teaches that faith is given to you by God and otherwise would be a work of your own. However Ephesians 2:8-9 mentions belief and works separately, so belief is not considered a "work". Romans 11:6 also illustrates this 2. This second verse is encouraging the believers not to lose their confidence in the Gospel message. It does not mention them losing their salvation, but rather encourages them to stay confident in it. 3. True the Holy Spirit is like a down payment. God has given the Holy Spirit to believers as a guarantee of the already purchased *possession*. John 5:24 states in present tense that the upon belief, the believer has (currently possesses) everlasting life 4 and 5. While your faith can certainly become shipwrecked (1 Tim 1:19), this cannot cause you to lose your salvation. Falling into a life of sin certainly could turn you to unbelief, but while this affects your fellowship with God, you are always a child of God once saved. 6. Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is a very specific sin in a very specific circumstance in time. These people (in spite of having witnessed proof that Jesus was who he said he was), attributed the works he was doing to the devil. Verse 30 tells you why they couldn't be forgiven, "Because they said he hath an unclean spirit". That is blasphemy of the Holy Spirit. These people attributed the works of God to the devil despite clear evidence to the contrary. The point the author of Hebrews is trying to make to his Jewish audience is that if you sin after you have been saved, there is no further sacrifice necessary to pay for your sins (Heb. 10:1-4, 11-14). The payment was made on the cross by Jesus. Hope this helps. God bless

Tristan 2102 Thank you for the replay. Hebrews 3:14 says we are made partakers of Christ if we hold till the end. What happens to those who do not hold their faith until the end? Are they still made partakers of Christ? Hebrews 3:14 KJVS For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end; Revelation 2:11 says he that overcomes will not be hurt by the second death. What happens to those who don't over come? Revelation 2:10-11 KJVS Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life. [11] He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death. Correct me if I'm wrong. But we are saved by faith alone correct? So if we must have faith in Christ for salvation, how could it be possible for someone who doesn't believe in Christ to make it into heaven? Luke 8:13 KJV They on the rock are they , which, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, which for a while believe, and in time of temptation fall away. So if someone believes when they are 18 but falls away a year later and began worshipping the devil for 70 years. Does that person go to heaven when they die even though they have no faith in Christ?

Terrell Thomas yes 2 Timothy 2:13 If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself. Believing on Christ is a one time thing. The very moment you do that, you are eternally secure.

There is nothing in Colossians 1:23 that says one loses their salvation. All it says to saved believers (vs. 21 "yet now hath He reconciled") that we need to continue in the faith that is grounded and settled and not be moved away from the hope of the gospel. Some believers were believing false teachers and having their faith shaken. This is not a passage about losing one's salvation, that isn't even addressed here. You say, "Ephesians 1:14 KJVS Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory. We won't actually recieve eternal life until after we have kept our faith until the end." First of all, there is nothing in that passage about keeping "our faith until the end." Secondly, this is addressing that wonderful time when we will experience the blessing of being changed from mortal to immortal and being with Jesus forever. In John 5:24, Jesus says that we have "already passed from death to life," so Jesus says we have already received eternal life. So you may want to take that up with Jesus. You mentioned "Hebrews 3:14 KJV For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;" And you ask the question: "So couldn't an excessive amount of sin lead a person to become hardened and fall into unbelief?" First, this letter is being written to Jews. This passage is referring to the "function of the house," not individual members who are just a part of the house. This doesn't refer to our justification, but rather refers to our function as the church and our sanctification. Later the writer says, "We have a great priest over the house of God. "Partakers" is the Greek word, Metochoi. It carries the idea of being business partners and companions. This passage is referring to participating in Christ's work. Probably also referring to the loss of rewards by not being "stedfast unto the end." When you ask the question about "an excessive amount of sin," if this is a true doctrine, where is the criteria or quota given in the Bible as to how few sins or how many works? There is none. You say, "Hebrews 3:12-13 KJV Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God. [13] But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. Couldn't this be blasphemy of Holy Spirit ?" There is nothing in this passage about losing one's salvation. It's addressing those who might again be entrapped by the snares of sin. Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is in rejecting Christ and refusing to believe in Him. Other than that, all sins are forgivable. You finish by saying, "Hebrews 10:26,29 KJVS For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, [29] Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?" What is the context of that passage? Is it about salvation or about sanctification? If we go down to vs. 35, the writer is speaking of reward, not salvation, "...which hath great recompense of reward." Our salvation is not a reward, but a gift. If we were to take this as a salvation passage, then vs. 26 would mean that once someone has sinned "willfully," which we all have done from time to time, there is now no more possibility for repentance and being saved. That would mean that both you and I are lost. That everyone who ever existed other than Jesus is lost. This makes no sense. I see two failures on your part. First you're taking a lot of passages out of context. We should always interpret selections of verses in their context. Secondly, you focus on a few isolated verses and yet fail to tackle the 100s of passages that say our salvation is sealed and safe. This has always puzzled me how someone will just focus on a few passages and neglect the majority of passages that say the opposite. Be blessed.
