college sports have become free agency in the offseason, unstable and unpredictable, having to post fundraisers and promise recruits deals and throw them millions of dollars to just play for your college-instead of getting players who actually always wanted to play for your college. if I’m Coach Hurley, if the family is fine with moving then I’m moving. Coach K and Jay Wright warned what’d happen to college basketball, being left in the dust as commissioners are becoming more football and money driven than anything else. the downside is you’d burn everyone you already recruited, but the upside is you have insider knowledge on every draft pick into this year’s and next year’s draft.

Yeah. He has actual pedigree. He knows what it takes to win and grind. What pedigree did Ham really have ? What did he really do ? Nothing. Never was a head coach beforehand. Part of why LeBron started to not buy in to Ham is because of what I said. No pedigree & if you don't have pedigree, LeBron eventually will stop taking you seriously. Hurley has pedigree & because of that, LeBron will buy in. This would be a good hire

To Ham’s credit, he was on that Pistons team that won a championship in 2004. Granted, he wasn’t a key figure by any means but he was there and he was on the staff when the Bucks won a few years ago. I wasn’t a fan of his, but I definitely would say he has some knowledge of what it takes to win.

Hire Dan Hurley ASAP and give him everything he needs to win and let the players know it’s his way or no way. But with Hurley you're getting experience as being a coach for years now, and a track record of developing players but no matter the coach you still got to have the right players sometimes it's hit and miss but to consider hiring JJ as the next Lakers head coach with no coaching experience whatsoever never made any sense not for a story franchise that is still completing to win a championship. I heard there were reports JJ wanted 10million or more per year to be the Lakers coach, if true how are you going tell a team you want big money when you've never been a coach or proved anything as of yet. I hope this isn't a smoke screen by the Lakers, like they already know Hurley isn't leaving UConn, and there going hire JJ.

Here's another take. Maybe Jeannie finally wants to run the Lakers and stop bending over backwards for Lebron James. As she should. She owns the team, she should start acting it. Lebron is only concerned about Lebron. He knows he can't win so he's sta padding and fool everyone that he still has it. Move on and start re building. Lebron is no longer that player (if he ever was), he would be a great no. 2, but we all know he would never accept that role (cue Melo's press con). And Frank Vogel got his only championship in 2020 and Lebron had nothing to do with him being fired but the results said that the team needed a new voice in the locker room after the disastrous season with Westbrook and old guys and what happened Vogel went to Phoenix and has got fired again!!
