I had to laugh when Dan said it always seems like the boots are just a little too short. I've always had that problem, whether it was with my Burly's or hip waders. I'm sure these boots are awesome. Kudos to anyone who can afford them. But at this price point, I'd have to start a go-fund-me for a pair. I'm already considering doing that, before my next gas tank fill up. I've been wearing Burly's since their inception. Nearly cried when they went to China. Everybody knows they won't hold a candle to the LaCrosse made boots. My first Burlys were under $40. Now they're over $100. But. Even though they are produced by our enemy, China, I will have to continue buying them at a 1/4 of the price of these Gumleaf TRUE RUBBER boots. I reckon l'll continue to dream of the days of old when Americans were producers instead of consumers and pray that we take this country back and return it to its rightful place in history and the production of AMERICAN MADE consumer goods. Good hunting to you!
I've heard Danner is now in the same boat as muck and lacrosse now. I think if you buy some good mountain boots. I like zamberlans or HanWag for a hiking boot.
