Right on dude.....70's was great to watch but there is nothing better than 80's/90's ball!! Every team had an All-star and even regular season games were exciting as hell!!
Yup! June 13, 1993. Classic game .... even as a Bulls fan at the time I had to appreciate this game. What a game by Dan Majerle .... he hit at least 3 shots from that distance in this game!
Thunder dan was always launching from way beyond... People today act like guys didnt do this then.. They could but its just a dumb shot unless the shotclock is winding down
An open 28 footer is easier to hit than a contested 18 foot jumper. Every shooter knows this, but no one was allowed to launch a more efficient AND more valuable shot for 30 years without being benched because of bad coaching, bad data analysis, and just plain bad strategizing.
@@TheSands83 Emojis are cute, but facts are facts, hon. You even said it yourself that these guys could do this back then. The fact that they didn't is an indictment of their ability to do simple math. The past 10 years of NBA basketball are proof of what real hoopers have known all along. Now, you can plug your ears like a child and continue to be confused why modern basketball is played the way it is, or you can make the commitment to yourself to actually learn something about the game before you go out into the real world and embarrass yourself again. There is plenty of literature on the subject out there to help you understand what you're watching.
@@johnnykilroy3026 understand?😂 I played d2 ball in Missouri numbnuts I know a lot more about the game than you. You realize 2 pt shots were more valuable this year than 3 pt shots? The players shoot about the same from 3 than they did in late 90s early 2000s . Any player who played in both eras says how much easier it is to score now because u literally can’t touch many guys or it’s a foul.. any actual man who has played basketball understands how much different it is to score when someone is allowed to b physical with you it’s night and day… You actually said a 28 ft shot is a good shot😂😂🤣 wow…. U clearly know less than zero about the game. U picked the wrong person to pretend u know basketball
00:12: one of the differences between old and new school mentality: the pg would propably take that 3 in today's game. Back then they were seeking the very best shot while letting the defense work as much as possible.
This was the shot that turned the tide of the game in favour of the Suns. It was Thunder Dan who won this game for them. He could have won this game for the Suns had his breakaway dunk counted in the dying moments in the 4th quarter if KJ didn’t hastily call a blatant timeout after stealing the ball from MJ.
Suns won game 3. In Chicago. They were at most 0-2, then 1-2. Check your facts, @. Game 7 would have been in Phoenix and I promise you Suns would've have won Game 7. But KJ was fouled.
oohhh so this was the source where Jordan said that Jerry Krause was head over heels on Dan Majerle during the 1993 NBA finals and that really pissed him and was so personal haha four years later MJ toyed Majerle when the latter played for the Heat haha in '94 and '95 Olajuwon blasted Majerle not only once but twice in their two playoff encounters also 😀
