Dan Vasc is a master artist. This is the best rendition of this song I will ever hear. The harmonica is a gift from his father when he was 7; his dad passed in 2017. He's Brazilian (obrigada brasil!) His range, power and vocal toolbox appear limitless. He has over 200 videos out there in many different genres. He takes us on a tour of Heaven with this song. Most of his stuff is secular but for those who wonder about this song he has stated he is Christian. The artist doing the lighting, filming and most of the rest of the production is no other than himself. Like I said. Master artist. Go down the Dan Vasc rabbit hole. You won't be sorry.

June 18, 2023 I found Dan Vasc less than a week ago. I was blown away. I've been watching everything he puts out on RU-vid, which is how he makes a living. Yes, I've been "Vasc"inated! Dan performed it approximately 5 days after losing his father, Roberto, to cancer in 2017. The emotion was raw and real. I still don’t know how he got through it. His voice and humility are true gifts from God.

Dan's name is pronounced "Vask". Music is his passion - especially Power Metal. He says he does not have talent, that he has worked hard at it and it is skill. Dan does his own settings, he has three different cameras and when he does the video he picked the one he likes the most at the time. Except when he has someone else appear in his videos to play the guitar or sing, he does most everything himself. If anyone else does anything, they are noted in his videos. Dan's father always walked around the house playing the harmonica and gave Dean one when he was around 13. He does work out and is very passionate about eating right and working out. I agree that this is the best rendition of Amazing Grace ever!

Dan's voice is awesome..as someone who sang in the church choir as a kid and worked as a church secretary, this is by far the best version ever! Take a listen to "Angels We Have Heard on High", "I'll Make a Man Out If You" from Mulan. He's also a nice guy who supports charities. His RU-vid channel is great..you won't be disappointed..

Hey there! Dan Vasc is an amazing blessing to this 63 yo lady. I never listened to metal much until I ran across this very same song by him. To me, and I'm not a musical professional but I am a Christian who can definitely feel and identify the HOLY SPIRIT when he sings this. I suggest you take a listen to his band FEARLESS. He has an album called Book of Ancient Wisdom. The songs, in metal, are from the bible. He also did a cover of a song from the movie Titanic called My Heart Will Go On which is amazing also. He has done Oh HOLY Night, and other traditional CHRISTMAS songs. He covered Love Me Tender, and American Trilogy, as well as Sweet Child Of Mine, and More Than Words. He even did an old Scottish ballad called Loch Lomond (please forgive spelling) Each and every thing he does is exceptional. Shortly after he lost his dad to cancer, he did The Last Goodbye from the Hobbit. That was so emotional. Performed perfectly, yet with tears in his eyes and on his cheeks. As far as the pronounceation, I believe it is with more of an a sound as in Vasquez rather than the o sound. He has several videos where he talks and he is a very disciplined wise young man who has worked very hard to get where he is.
