I heard this song by Dan about a month ago, it moved me to my core. I worked as a Paramedic for many years and a very dear friend of mine who I worked with died and it was hard enough going to his funeral but then the lone bag piper shows up playing Amazing Grace and walking off into the distance while the Honor Guard did the 21 gun salute and it literally destroyed me. There is so much more that goes with this story but I won't put it here. Your reaction was amazing and as a Christian, I am right there with you as far as being moved by this song. I can't sing it or hardly listen to it without falling to pieces! Keep up the reaction videos, I'm looking forward to them.

I just watched Dan Vasc again after he was on zoom in our church service. I sat here and cried tears in thanksgiving for such a talent. It is my deepest desire to hear him sing "How Great Thou Art" and I am sure it will be another performance such as we just heard. I am overwhelmed with emotion! If I had his email I would write him. I just found Dan, a month or so ago and instantly fell in love with him and his voice. The way that he can do any song with such compassion and high-energy is amazing I have never seen anyone do music like he does. He is truly blessed with a great gift. He takes heavy metal, Christian, rock and roll, Opera, and he doesn't in one fell swoop. Absolutely jaw-dropping amazing.

What an absolute masterpiece, Chills!

I've loved Amazing Grace since i was i child, but it wasnt until now, in my 58th year, when i heard Dan sing it, that i felt i finally really understood the song, like on a deep level. And Yes, i also feel the same way about bagpipes, i can't help but cry when i hear them, and the harmonica is a genius substitute, and the first time I heard it it hit me just the same way.
