Everyone, including myself wanted Sean to win...... but also everyone (including me) thought Aljo would take him down over and over again, and ride out a decision. To say Sean shocked the world is an understatement! It was legit impressive

If Aljo wouldn't have seen it coming, it probably would've been a clean ko. I think Aljo was in the process of getting away when it got stopped, but he was likely going to get dropped again if he didn't start running laps for time to clear his head. Think of Kongo vs Barry though, people do comeback from a critical state like that.
I hate to ain on the parade but sugar ever did a step back counter right hand. They were both moving backwards and also missed the punch(range was off) and Sean just gave a right hand after his strike. Watch it again, it wasn't a true step back counter but I can see why you thought that. Either way, you're right, was picture perfect

And Wonderboy did the smart thing because he’s gaining absolutely zero if he beats Ian, and most likely Wonderboy doesn’t feel threatened by Ian because Ian doesn’t impose any sort of challenge. Tom Aspinall actually hurt himself kicking Blaydes like he did, Weidman got his [blank]CL crushed after getting kicked square in it. Definitely a big difference.

Dana is salty Wonderboy turned down the fight after his opponent missed weight and then went on Ariel’s show and said he didn’t get paid after his scheduled bout. Wonderboy needs to find a way to get back in the UFC’s good graces.

This is an amazing win for O'Malley, I am a huge fan of Aljo and really disappointed in the outcome of this fight. Never did I ever thought the finish would happen. I thought aljo was gonna ragdol him. But that was clean nice to see someone backup his talk

I’m 40 and been watching since Denver 1. The sport never stops giving me something to look forward to. Timbo being person and coach he is has set up Sean well.

A lot of coaches have multiple fighters. Timbo really just focuses on Suga. Yea he has his academy and all but Suga is his priority.
Goddard is an early stoppage merchant. You saw the previous fight with Zhang Weili smashing Lemos' head into the canvas during the first round and they let it continue. Whenever Goddard is refereeing a title fight, always expect "AAAAND NEWW."

Man Weidman is tough as nails!! He looked a lil slower and older physically, but the heart and the desire is still there. Its a tough situation bc Chris is a legend and I wanna see him go out on a high note, but father time is a bastard.
