In that first bit of partnering work at 5:44, it was Myles being lifted. He was wearing a wig. The full dance was amazing. It was a duet called 'The Awards' and was performed at The Dance Awards, in New York I think. You should definitely watch that and a trio called 'Lost Love'. The duet was Myles and Devon (another Next Step dancer). And the trio was Myles, Devon and Briar.

You should definitely watch The Next Step! It's really fun (you know, it's a kid's show, but I'm 19 yo and I love it! haha) and it has a lot of really good dances. As far as I know it's still going, it's on season 6 right now. Besides Myles, queen Briar, Jordan Clark and many other amazing dancers are on it too!

A bit of info on The Next Step: It is Canadian and has 6 seasons currently. It is not really like dance moms since it is fake reality and the dancers are much older. Myles (who plays "Noah") was briefly in season 1 and 2 and then was a main in season 3, 4, 5 and 6. Briar (she plays "Richelle") was a recurring character in season 2 and 3, and then became a main for 4, 5 and 6. The majority of the dancers on there are amazing however not all the episodes are available to watch. The Next Step have a RU-vid channel where it should be possible to watch all the actual dances as well as some scenes, hope this helped!

the next step runs for about 6 years now.. it has 6 seasons and myles has been in it ever since season 1, even though he only showed up a few times on the first two seasons, he started to become one of the main casts during the third till the last season.

The Next Step is still going, it's going to start airing the second half of season 7 next week. The Next Step has more heart then Dance Moms, I would never think of them as remotely the same. To me, the only thing they share is dance.

Hack for turning in athletic shoes is to get cheap ones for dance and slice or sand down the ball of the foot its still kinda grippy because of the rubber but it lessens the traction. ive done this for shoes for hiphop and contemporary with walmart and target 10 dollar shoes
