I competed with them at Starpower during their first season. That was a real competition. No one knew who they were or anything.

I still wanted them to win but why does it get annoying when they keep getting first

@Ari Kim there could be better people out there but they dont have to win every single time. ALDC doesnt always win first but they mostly win 2nd or 3rd in every competition. they're very skilled but no one wins all the time

GachaVi I actually was at star power nationals Orlando with them in the first season. I had to sign a paper saying they could use my group dance. I’m sure if you went into the results you could find the competition. I believe it was like 2011-2012 nationals. Not sure which year exactly cause it was so long ago.

I can agree with this. I was a competitive dancer myself. My studio competed in the same competition with Dance Moms in Lancaster, PA. It was the second season. My dance friends & I went around the hallway asking other dance studios if they saw any Dance Moms performances. Everyone kept saying they performed before all of the other dance studios entered the competition building. During awards, only a select few dance studios were picked to be on stage with the Dance Mom girls.

I tried warning ppl from the start that DMs was fake, the competitions rigged, that Abby was a shrieking, shifty beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeyatch & the drama was all done with editing & I cannot tell you how many mountains of crap the Maddiebots buried me under, telling me that the things I had experienced firsthand were "fake." I had been at some of the "competitions" from seasons 1-4, including most of the ones in NJ, & saw it with my own eyes (the several takes fused to look like a single, "winning" dance, 2 different awards ceremonies, the nasty & racist comments made about fans/other dancers by the "queen bee" & her newfound bff), yet nobody wanted to see/hear what I had to say. I can only hope that now that some of the girls & moms are coming out to explain the very same things that I did, ppl will be more discerning of the garbage "reality" TV shows they watch & understand that 99.999999999999999999999999999999% of the drama on these shows are done with scripting & editing.

they had to have a private dressing room. they couldn’t bring a camera crew into a room where they had 20 other teams, that would’ve been illegal. and then they would’ve had to have everything sign permission slips to film. the competitions may have been rigged, and they probably were, but this doesn’t prove that.

I Be Jungshook sure, but she could be lying or talking about very specific seasons. With a situation like this, I'm inclined to go with the majority and believe that there were fake competitions. What the others say isn't invalid compared to someone who was on there longer in this situation unless the argument is for a specific season the others weren't part of. If many people said the competitions were fake, they probably experienced fake competitions.
