I think this would be good to practice the actual foot work without skates so you can focus only on what foot does what and what direction it goes during the spin and then move to skates. I’m directionally challenged 😭😂

Toe Stops are a great tool!!! I use them as well. They are particularly useful for outdoors (stopping), hills (pushing uphill, stopping downhill), both indoors and outdoors for toe jumps (mapes, stag, flip, lutz etc), toe spins (pivots, single toe), roller derby (all aspects) of both banked and flat track, running on your toes for gaining speed, agility ... the uses are endless. Once you really know how to use them, you will love them and then you can decide to take them on and off :)

@@Dirtydeborahharry I don't know if you are agreeing with me or not. I went on a street skate today and put back on my toe stops. Later took 'em off and put back on my jam plugs for dancing in Hyde Park (in the UK). Tried the downtown 360. Yep, harder than it looks. Still gonna try and drill it till I kill it though. :D
