DANCER REACTS TO GFRIEND | 'Apple' MV, Choreography Ver. & Dance Practice Video! 

HI BUDDIES! Just wanted to add a little afterthought since I did a lot of fanboying in this video and didn't get a chance to really analyze the lyrics much-- I love the colourful similes used throughout the song, and how they referenced their past with lines that included "glass bead," possibly the maze referencing "Labyrinth" and other references I may have missed. They talked a lot about leaving the past behind, and letting their childhood die (letting the timid child go,) and I know that they used to have a school trilogy which makes me think they are keeping the story alive. Let me know if that's completely off-track and I'm just reaching here but that's how I interpret it! And yes, I realize the Apple reference is talking about the Garden of Eden and temptation, hence the biting of the apple and horns growing. When you mentioned that the choreography looks like a tree you were right. They are supposed to be an apple tree. That's why Sinb has red hair to represent the apple.

Apple is one of my favourite songs from them! It’s very ethereal and mysterious and the MV is my personal favourite from them! I just think the whole concept was so pretty and something that kpop hasn’t really seen in a while. Plus the transition from the white to the black outfits had a great impact (they even did it on a few of their comeback stages-mcountdown and Inkigayo). I remember watching the MV for the first time and I was so surprised about that drastic change. I’m very excited to see what they’ll do in the future! But we should know why they're eat that apple. If you watch their 'A tale of Glass Bead: Butterfly Effect' clips. You can see Eunha was follow the one sound from darkness. That SIRENS called. Have you heard bout Sirens in greek methodology? It's related to something like mermaid with half bird. Sorry I didn't know well bout this. In all honesty, I didn't like this song when I first heard it. It's grown on me since then, but it's still not my favorite GFriend song. I prefer their more string-based songs such as "Time for the Moon Night", "Sunrise", and "Crossroads".
