Hey Whats up everyone I am back with another K-pop Reaction this time with my dance partner Olani . This episode we are doing Stray Kids we had to check out Back Door . If you enjoyed this video please Like , Share or Subscribe .
The kids are not behind the MVs but they are the main producers, lyricists and composers of their discography, including this song. Mostly 3RACHA (Chan, Changbin and Han) who make their music.
If you want to know the full dance, watch their practice video! They have one for each of their songs, this one included. I also recommend watching either their Double Knot Performance Video or Easy
As a dancer as well I LOVE how Stray Kids manage to carry out the song as well as the story it tells through their dances. It blows my mind how their choreography so perfectly manages to match the energy of their songs (Victory Song, Side Effects, Double Knot, Easy, Miroh are example) because their songs themselves always manage to hit so much harder than you'd expect... then to have the choreo right there with it. Like wow, I hope you get to watch more. I'd suggest those above as well as: TA dance practice Easy dance practice Awkward Silence dance practice God's Menu dance practice Voices dance practice
I’d suggest miroh! The dance was inspired by the haka from New Zealand and it’s super cool! They also have dance practices for most of their songs that have music videos! Anything that you decide to check out from them will be amazing cause skz never misses!
Love the reaction! Also I don't know if anyone commented this before but most kpop music videos won't get copyrighted, so you should be fine not cutting the video so you can keep the whole reaction. Of course it's your channel and you can still do it if you prefer, it's just a suggestion ^^ but I find it makes the reaction more enjoyable when there's less cuts.
Sienna Lalau is the choreographer for this video. She is in LA with The Lab. She has done quite a bit of choreography for kpop in the last 2 years. She has done other Stray Kids as well as Treasure and ‘On Kenetic Manifesto’ by BTS. She is so young (yeah, I’m an old fart who got into this world because of a teenage daughter), but so very gifted.
I recommend to you guys to watch their Side Effects Performance video, the choreography and the whole video is just amazing. Your video was really great, I loved that you guys went into it and explained some things that us, non-dancers may not know. Keep going and thank you for the video♡
Olani is a beautiful man :') I love your guys' breakdowns!! I've got a connective tissue disorder and a heart condition, so I've never really seen dance as a path for me, but I LOVE watching it and learning about choreography so so much, so getting to listen to you guys discuss it and highlight certain things is so cool
So cool to see you guys getting into them! Stray kids really deserve all the love they receive. They are relatively new in the kpop community and rising to the top fast. If you want to see more amazing dancers in the kpop industry, i recommend the groups nct and seventeen. Bts and exo are also famously awesome when it comes to choreography. As for newer groups, ateez is a strong group too. Their choreo for wonderland is particularly fun. Female groups also have nice dances but usually are not as intense, power wise but still very technical. I personally love mamamoo and red velvet the most. Twice and blackpink are very popular groups with some fun stuff and itzy is newer like stray kids and ateez. There is so so much more that I am missing but i wanted to throw some names out there if you wanted to broaden your horizons. I will warn you though, dip your toe into kpop and it's a slippery slope where you probably wont return from 😂😂😂 Welcome to the community and I hope you enjoy it!
If you want to see more of their dancing I’d suggest checking out skz player and record as their dance unit (danceracha) has done quite a few dances that they’ve choreographed themselves on there! The specific ones/most recent ones are hyunjin with a modern dance to when the party’s over and a cover of Taemins criminal
I'd love to see both of you react to the dance practice. It has interesting blocking and some parts have a West Side Story vibe. Here's the link: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-WAGlb7u9nqE.html
