Wind in his hair is the best character in this movie cause Rodney A Grant is the most talented and beautiful native indian actor. Noone would have nailed that role the way he did it
This was one of my favorite western movies always was always will be it was such an excellent movie every time I watch it I love it more it takes you into another world that once was before we got there very well done the Indians molded the world into what it is today and that's the truth the only difference was they weren't greedy like the white men animated abused the wind or the animals
Mais belo filme que já assisti, apesar de um grande crítico do cinema dizer, que para falar que já assistiu Dança com lobos tem que velo pelo menos 50 vezes.
The Movie was Wonderful, the Cinematography Spectacular no Doubt about that. A Friend & I were Discussing this Film the Other day, coincidentally & although we both Enjoyed it Immensely. We also Agreed that it was Longer & more Melodramatic than Necessary. But Thank You for Sharing the Excellent Clip.
A lot of that opening scene is in the director's cut. IMO, the only version to watch lol ..almost 4hrs long and I cry everytime at the ending, and I regret never seeing it in the cinema.
This scene reflects the darkest chapter in the history of the United States of America. The Civil War was a terrible conflict in our nation. In the end it left many dead on it's battlefields. Didn't matter if you were Yankee or Rebel or North or South...they were just dead!!😖🇺🇸
Hey man, it's all about guiltiness.. don't be that Kind of foul.. who wrote the history? I am from Austria.. the same shit.. do not believe all you think😉
@@wolfgangkoller6752 I was born and raised in Harrisburg Pennsylvania. I still live outside of Harrisburg and when I was in grade school back in the 70's we went to the battlefield sites at Gettysburg Pennsylvania. I will tell you once you've been there it has an effect on you the rest of your life.
The weird thing about this clip is that Costner is terrified of horses and in all the movies where he rides one, it's a pantomime horse. The same two guys in the costume too.
Love this movie. Can watch it again and again. But the boys in gray would have really turned him to doll rags in real life. Cause when you have to hit a running deer to eat. Makes a difference on you're aim.sorry Mr cosner.
Only if your a shitty hunter. Better hunters know when to shoot and when not to shoot. Shooting at running prey is a gamble unless your John Wayne on TV. Smart shooters wait for the moment, take the shot, then harvest the animal. You seem to be " just fill the air with lead and something has to die" kind of guy. Midwest Whitetail archery hunting will humble you.
@@K3Flyguy no that's what I'm saying. They wouldn't shoot at him at all. Unless they could be sure of hitting him. Bow hunting in VA is the same way. There's so much brush and stuff. You really have to pick you're shot.same with a rifle. I've had a round bounce off a limb. I didn't see. While shooting at deer.had bow hunting friends do the same. Lol
Agreed. Those rifled muskets were combat accurate within 200 yards on a man sized object, reasonably accurate out to 400. But we have to give some space for dramatic license.
If you live in America, you need to right the wrongs of those who came before you. Contact the tribe nearest you and sign your home and land over to them. I’m sure they’d be happy to take it off your hands.
great movie , great mistake, winchester rifle were invented and produced until 1866 fater the civil war period , in which this story suppously happened, great mistake..!!
Kevin Costner rode "Plain Justin Bar" named *Cisco * in the movie...he bought the Quarter Horse buckskin afterwoods so I read by the time in the Quarter Horse Journal ....half of Europe Western style Riders named her NEW Horses for about 20 years Cisco by then!
