Megamix and Fever was pretty much Euromix 2 in two seperate games. Most of the songs in those mixes are present in Euromix 2. Also both mixes had Drop The Bomb SySF mix!
This is the equivalent to what nstc/USA version? Cause (im Brasilian) im just downloading the Euro versions of the games that i couldnt get to work on my PS2 via flash drive. Used to play this game in arcade :D
@@evilzinabyssranger5695 _"This is the equivalent to what nstc/USA version?"_ I never saw this before, but I'll answer now if you still care. MegaMIX and Fever are a bit of a weird situation in that MegaMIX came out first, but resembles MAX2, and Fever came out second, but more closely resembles MAX. MAX came out before MAX2, if that makes sense.
@@EuroMIX2 It gets better, DS Fever came out after DDRMAX2 USA PS2 and DDR Extreme PS2 for Japan in which both have proper background sequences. Yet, DS Fever has lazy, recycled background sequences and also old DDRMAX2 background sequences.
I thought Dancing Stage Fever was going to be like DDRMAX2 USA where all the songs have proper background sequences. Unfortunately, many songs are have recycled background sequences like DDRMAX USA. Even many songs that appeared and debuted in DDRMAX2 AC have DDRMAX2 background sequences.
I can't help but love the menu/roulette music in this game, my PS2 disk is broken, any chance of having an audio sample from you? I just need a 15 seconds audio file, I can edit the rest by myself
***** Intersting that they used a 5th Mix piece of menu music here - then again, I'm amused (still amused, rather) that in Extreme (arcade, and JP PS2 release) they use the Nonstop menu music from 3rd Mix for the random songwheel slot.
It's an awesome piece of music. Konami were honestly wizards at coming up with their own catchy songs and jingles to help bulk out the the song lists and make the games very appealing. I still love the classic Konami jingle.
When you mentioned that, I got a little mindblown. DS Fever is based on MAX while DS Megamix is based on MAX2. So this makes the boss songs in reverse placement. What I hate about DS Megamix are the painfully easy licenses. (They don't exceed 5 feet in expert)
+ShadowFeline MegaMIX was released before Fever, and apparently both were released within the same year, so they probably should have been one game to begin with; Konami just didn't care. Europe never got an arcade adaptation of MAX; EuroMIX2 was based on MAX2 and I think it was released the same year as EXTREME in Japan. Arcade releases go something like: Dance Dance Revolution/2ndMIX = Dancing Stage/1.5 Dance Dance Revolution 3rdMIX = Dancing Stage EuroMIX Dance Dance Revolution MAX2 = Dancing Stage EuroMIX2 Dance Dance Revolution Festival/EXTREME (USA) = Dancing Stage Fusion
