Today, Valeria welcomes Allison Holker to Not Alone. Since the passing of her husband Stephen (better known to the world as tWitch), Allison has been on the road to healing, self-discovery, and self-love. Together, Allison and Valeria talk about the power of faith and the comfort it provides, parenting your children through grief, how to have a successful and loving relationship with your teens, and the problem with toxic positivity. Allison Holker is a dancer and choreographer who got her start on Season 2 of So You Think You Can Dance. From there she joined SYTYCD as an All-Star in later seasons, danced as a pro on Dancing With The Stars, hosted Disney’s Fairytale Weddings, and is now a judge on So You Think You Can Dance for Season 18. She is the mother of 3 beautiful children and is an author now as well.

Valeria, I don't know why your interviews don't get as many views as they deserve. I have to say, they are not only professional, but also very warm, deep and sincere. I love your approach to guests and the way you help them open up and reflect on their life and experience. (sorry, not a native speaker). Ты большая молодец и очень вдохновляешь! ❤❤❤

I have been following them for YEARS. Since the show, their proposal, wedding, birth of their babies, pandemic, how Weslie became the young woman that she is now. How can one person come out of such tragedy? No matter how long ago it was, how can someone put on make up, show up for their kids, be in front of the camera, stand up to talk about the growth and healing without cursing out? I LOVE AND ADMIRE her. Such a strong person. Such a role model for the people following. Her kids are lucky to have her in their lifes. She is the definition of MOTHER

She’s always talking about spreading love & light yet she has been ignoring Twitch’s side of family & not allowing Twitch’s mom to see the grandchildren. His mom already lost her son, but to lose her grandchildren too is evil. She knows more than she’s telling & I don’t want to hear any of that, “everyone grieves differently”. You can grieve in a different way without denying a grieving grandmother access to her grandkids. All of this has been confirmed by Stephen’s family.

all the sponsoring and commercial interrupts the fluidity of the interview/talk and makes me not watch it - having enough at 31:17... i really dont want to be rude just my honest listener review. i understand the necessity of sponsors but it kills the vibe -

Valeria you're so nice, but pls be yourself, don't try to be Oprah Winfrey. Don't copy her, she is unique and you can be to, just be yourself!

Her husband (famously known as Twitch) committed suicide unfortunately. He used to work in The Ellen Show. She’s so strong and has a beautiful family ❤

But you raised a point. I think it would have been good to name the act…. It felt like an elephant in the room

Hi Valeria, I’m a fan of Allison & Twitch. I started out watching Allison and was quickly introduced to Twitch. I was devastated when I heard the news. Like most we’ve grown to love them. They inspired, invited us into their home. My biggest take away from this as a single poppa. “Of all the things we pass on to our offspring the first must be roots, the second must be wings.” That’s Golden! 🫶🏽 Thanks so much!
