I thought you might have commented on the awful attempted roll Adam, as soon as it went wrong it flashed through my mind to stay inverted and climb out safely but I don't know how she flies like that so I just closed the throttle and eased her out of the dive. Regarding the landing and watching the video I think a sudden gust spoiled what should have been a touchdown slightly earlier. All good fun though, cheers 👍

@@CliffHarveyRCPlanes You did fine Cliff...sometimes the wind will affect a roll if its in a crosswind...I'd have recovered the same way you did. If the Bobber is like my Sig Kadet I have to use aileron and some rudder to get a decent roll.

@Model AV8R I think not enough down elevator as I went through was probably the main culprit, live and learn, cheers 🙂

It's been said elsewhere FB that PR was using too much power on takeoff, thus inducing a torque roll, of course a little more right thrust would have helped just less power. A model doesn't always need full power to launch. A good example if this is the Mustang video I'm uploading tomorrow morning, half throttle and she still pulled to the left a little 🙂🤔👍

@@CliffHarveyRCPlanes the classical guitar track was kinda nice and providing its background music and fairly low volume it doesn't get in the way of hearing the motor. My Cub is a balsa kit (Guillows) and the 28" wing is a bit of a guess cut I'm not at home right now, I'd absolutely recommend the kit though. 👌

@@wearemany73 The Guillow's kits are very nice, I've built a few now (as you may know). Regarding the music, sometimes I put it on to cover up the sound of the wind in the mic which is really horrible, thanks for the feedback. 👍

I'm thinking they may have changed the thrust angles, that's about what I've got now, if you take off using minimum throttle, just in case, then you'll have minimum bad effects 🤔👍

@@CliffHarveyRCPlanes Thanks for the advice Cliff! What you see is where it's at. I filmed this last weekend, built the servo bays yesterday and planning to build the cockpit hatch today. I have some time off over Christmas and if the weather is as bad as forecast, hoping to make lots of progress before I have to go back to work!

Hola Carlos, intentaré responder usando el traductor de Google. No le tengas miedo, solo necesita un poco más de empuje derecho en el soporte del motor, una pequeña arandela es suficiente para darle otro par de grados. El error que cometieron los otros voladores fue acelerar a fondo de inmediato, lo que hizo que el modelo volara con fuerza hacia la izquierda. Entonces, con un poco más de empuje hacia la derecha y siendo un poco más suave con el acelerador, no tendrás problemas. El otro pequeño cambio que hice fue colocar pequeños obturadores debajo del montaje del tren de rodaje trasero para hacer girar las ruedas más hacia adelante y ayudar a evitar los desniveles. Espero que esto ayude y la traducción esté bien, saludos.

Thank you very much, your videos helped me and your message encouraged me. I really like this plane, it is my first balsa plane, but it seems to me that the engine mount is weak. Hi Carlos, excellent maiden flight, well done (I notice comments are turned off under the video!), I can't quite remember how the engine mounted but try not to nose it into the ground and it won't be a problem, cheers and have fun.

Hi Colin, my advice would be to watch the build videos, if you have any queries leave a comment under the video and I'll get a notification. I will say though that the servos are ok for the job, I would use them as you've bought them and change one out if you should strip a gear, mine have been ok so far, cheers.
