Dane destroyed probably one of the most pure and wholesome Mage players on ladder. Someone who, despite the annoying secrets, was 110% in on the Yogg memery. Fs in chat, lads 🫡

The mage even gave a WP after getting almost half of their deck burned! Absolute Lad

That's the expected comment of any aggro or meta player, who is making this game thrash in general.

you can play the Fizzel Zola Combo for infinite value and put the good Symphonies in it

@@tgranger3504 I've been thinking about crafting fizzle since the xpac dropped! The problem with that kind of deck is that most of the really good decks in standard right now will not give you enough time to set that up. It's just a bit too slow. But there are nerfs coming next week so I'm interested to see if control/value lock can compete after that.

It's "Heavy Metal!" From Rastakhan's Rumble. It costs 6 mana and summons a random minion equal to the amount of armor your hero has, up to 10. It has never been played because agressive warrior decks don't rely on armor, while control warrior ramps up armor so easy, the card is usually a 6 mana battlecry-less 10 drop -- and these are usually terrible. Playing it with armor below 6 (and even at 6 mana) is usually a waste of resources. I don't feel like it fits with the theme of Blackrock'n'roll and Rock Master Voone.

The game isn't about playing out your cards anymore, it's about stopping the opponent from doing stuff. Same thing that Dane did to him at the end.

@@Amghannam It's the mentality. We also know what pirate warriors and rogues are going to do but that doesn't mean there's any less disdain towards the person controlling it

@@remyllebeau77 Stopping the opponent from doing stuff is the definition of control. Aside from Blood DK which isn't really that kind of control anyway, this is very much not a control meta and the devs are trying really hard to keep it that way. Which is why I moved on to better games.

The opponent spends T3, T4, and 8 mana to negate two irrelevant one drops with a meme greed deck: big bad mentality Dane deletes 15 cards (granted, also with a meme greed deck): No problem here I agree with one of those two statements
