Dangerously Long Grain Train & Loaded Coal Train Booking Over Mile Long Trestle In West Virginia!

Heavy Coal Train On The Mile Long Trestle, Giant Grain Train, Loaded Coal Train Under The Railroad Bridge & More Trains. These trains are in Kenova, West Virginia. Includes a double stack intermodal train and a local switching train coming and going. 6 axle locomotive pulling one car in both directions. 1960gambit rode to Kenova with me and we got a bunch of CSX and Norfolk Southern trains on an unusually warm and windy March day.
The best train is the loaded coal train on the giant railroad bridge that runs up the middle of the street in Kenova. The train is crossing over the city and heading into Ohio. There is also another coal train in the video going under the bridge as it is heading toward Huntington, West Virginia and beyond.

All those trains hopping along and the NS local indeed does look dwarfed on that bridge and then it makes the industrial sized Horseshoe curve just to pick up and deliver one car - Well someone had to do it. Thank you for another video of trains that you saw in Kenova, West Virginia on 23 March 2023, Jaw Tooth! The CSX grain train did not need a DPU since it had four engines on the front.Those four engines provided enough power to move the train. The CSX coal train at the end of the video only had two engines powering the train. The engines were working hard to keep the coal train moving. The Norfolk Southern trains on the bridge coming from and going to Ohio had some interesting freight cars. I was intrigued by the last cars on the first Norfolk Southern train too! Those flat cars with the steel slabs would look great on a model railroad.

You're right it would be an awesome job to drive a locomotive engine that was one of my dream jobs when I was a kid never happened in the end going out railfanning with my girlfriend and watching the trains go by as just as good in my opinion especially when I get the horn salute engineers never went real finding on Sunday because the weather here was windy and raining going on Friday coming up if the weather is nice keep your videos coming Budie above them😊
