ashley was right, btob are literally friends with everyone in the industry. rookie groups, girl groups, senior groups, you name it. And according to btob members, Peniel has the most female friends in btob. He's close with EXID, AOA, Twice, etc, even Sejeong said that Peniel is one of her closest idol friends. He definitely has the scoop.

Peniel knows whats going on in peoples lives but he just aint a messy dude I respect that we all need to aim to mind our business!

Can you guys talk about how idols need to hide their dating life and how they sometimes fake their personalities when being natural and honest should be the right thing to do?

The amount of ship videos on RU-vid is terrifying. There is no group that is exempted from this...Sometimes, rumours from fans get so hyped up that even websites publish articles about them...When I see those types of videos or articles pop up, what Peniel said is what I always worry about: that these ships or rumours may potentially ruin a friendship because I know I'd feel very awkward with a friend if I had dating rumours with him/her. People did that One Direction too. Years later, a member admitted that those romance rumours about him and another member harmed their friendship because he would stay distant from him to avoid further rumours. It's so sad that people's "entertainment" is harming friendships. Plus, I don't understand the point of doing that...What benefit do you get from speculating about someone's personal or romantic life? It feels as though people these days want to live vicariously through others. Also, what you guys said about 95% of things we hear about celebrities being untrue reminded me of a webtoon called Lost in Translation. I really hope it becomes more popular because it shows how rumours can harm celebrities and can be far from the truth.

I agree with Ashley, people usually gossip because their own life is uninteresting, so they are always curious to know what other people are up to. It's kinda sad really.

For a second i was really impressed with how their clothes hair and makeup is literally the same in every episode but then realised that they probably filmed them all on the same day 😂

Naaah..Peniel knows a lot, he's just being respectful of others' feelings and privacy. Remember on the topic about cheating t and when he was asked about a situation about breaking it to someone that their significant other is cheating on them? He said he considers how the person might react to the news. That's just how he is. He's a nice guy and probably, just acts clueless so no one pushes further on the topic. And that's how you end gossiping, let it end with you. ♡

i love how diane's role changes with each podcast because for hdigh and the tablo podcast, she's practically a cohost at this point but here she's just the natural laugh track.

Being a Suju fan, it makes me happy hearing BM name them out of all the people he could think of, they get so much online hate (speaking of gossiping), it feels nice hearing someone that actually met them tell that they are nice to other idols.

After more than a decade of being a kpop fan I’ve learned to never believe a scandal/rumour about an idol until there’s proof or the company makes a statement. These days the younger fans jump on the hate bandwagon so quick leading to cancel culture. Anyway love you BM, Ashley and Peniel

THANK YOU FOR THIS PODCAST. This is what all Kpop fans need to hear. I'm tired of those shipping videos and speculations. It seriously can harm friendships/relationships with members in a group OR friendships/relationships of a group with another group. This kind of insight in the idol world is much needed. Ashley, Peniel, and BM are literally telling it like it is, and I definitely think we need more shows/radios/podcasts like this for idols to have healthy and real conversations. Idols are literally people, we need to realize this.

Ashley's right. Peniel sure knows a lot. He's just loyal and good at keeping secrets. I love him for it.

can i just say? one thing i really love about this podcast is that the three of them are genuine friends. i think it's what makes this podcast so charming. they all have different personalities/perspectives, but they know how to be receptive of each other and they can tease e/o without being cruel.

I liked how BM randomly praised SuJu. This podcast is really interesting. Great to hear idols my age share their experiences and outlook on life

I've heard gossip about me being scary as hell but when people meet/get to know me they're always like "you're not as scary as i heard".

19:55 EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEXACTLY. lack of fulfillment, or lack of importance, leads people to either violate confidentiality or create falsehood. and whether what they're telling others is true or not, someone else will value that, either as information or as entertainment. that in turn will make the gossiper feel valued, and increase the likelihood of them continuing the behavior.

Regarding dating rumours, I think like 'shipping' and actually believing that two are dating is different. Like when someone 'ships' I think it's more of just them saying oh they would make a cute couple but then actually believing they are dating, that's when it can get toxic.
