I haven’t noticed takfir of rulers in Daniels work. Some criticism for sure. Pointing out some questionable behaviors etc. but not Takfir. May Allah guide all of us. Ps. Personally I’m very skeptical about some of the modern and past rulers, but that doesn’t mean I’m making takfir on them. It’s just beyond my qualifications and knowledge to even entertain that ideas.

If you're going to call out Daniel then give specific examples. The only thing I remember about UAE is he was calling government out on LGBT issues. Are you saying something in support of LGBT? Therefore, instead of confusing your audience, give clear examples and explanations.

How do you explain this Hadith. There is nothing wrong in expressing dislikes towards a ruler by their apparent actions. I mean we all know who Saudi ruler are friends with and we can dislike it. The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "You will have rulers some of whom you approve and some of whom you will disapprove. He who dislikes them will be safe, and he who expresses disapproval will be safe, but he who is pleased and follows them (will be indeed sinful)". His audience asked: "Shall we not fight them?" He replied, "No, as long as they establish Salat amongst you". [Muslim]

I truly have respect for you Ustadh, however, as much as I agree with you about nearly all things and about brother Gabriel’s stance in certain aspects, and as we all have shortcomings and mistakes. And you’re a great asset. However, I strongly disagree with respect what you said about brother Daniel. I have never heard him make takfeer on Muslim rulers and to be honest with you if he spoke not palatable about them, well, they have left a bad taste in the mouths of the Ummah, and luckily he hasn't made takfeer on them(to my knowledge). I'm not gonna go in to these so called "Muslim" rulers but I don't believe anyone should be discrediting brother Daniel for the risks and sacrifices he and his family make for this Deen in a time thousands of him is needed for the sake of fearing any Khuruuj(which he has neither called to or insinuating towards) against men who do not work for this Deen but rather work for their stomachs and their future offspring. People need to realise the Deen and the honour of the Muslims is far greater than an imaginary collapse of a puppet organisation who bring about nothing but bloodshed and humiliation. Sometimes, such great work brother Daniel does includes speaking about Muslim rulers(not him doing takfeer); the current state of the enemies of Islaam against Islaam is a matter soo great that only Allaah Knows and if in his work something are UN-avoidable. Hence, he isn't in a place where he is discredited for the sake of an imaginary khuruuj against Muslim rulers for in reality WHAT ARE MUSLIMS in a Muslim lands, who are able doing for the help of the Ummah or even concessions for Muslims who wish to make Hijrah to Saudi for instance? as well as Muslims who are deported from Saudi when they have every right to be in the lands of the Muslims and particularly the land the Messenger of Allaah and the Companions shed the lives and blood for? I don't hear their defence(the non-criminals deported from Saudi for instance) nor any change has been made. What are the ones living in honour doing for those who wish to migrate from the dishonour they face in kufar lands to practice their Deen? I just hope the fortunate ones bring about change for the Muslims who aren't allowed to make Hijrah and to those who aren't criminals but deported and those who lived in those lands for their who lives yet still aren't allowed full residency. Let's be honest, they're rulers not for Muslims and they choose to be rulers not for Muslims, I'm not calling for khuruuj but against it but what I really hate is this excessive fear of khuruj that those who sold their lives and, families and wealth for the sake of Allaah such as be Daniel are discredited at a time like this just because he dislikes Muslim rulers and I’m sure the majority dislike them not just him!

I've heard of Daniel having some takfeer issues before, but I've never once come across him doing that in my many years of being subscribed to his channel. I was hoping an example would be presented(can someone do that please?).
