Jakub Ferenčík yeah he was forced to retire this year due to an injury that could have paralysed him if he kept playing. A real shame as he was having a breakout campaign and had developed into a promising player. Really choked me up seeing how much it meant to him.

the sedins play with pete.. they are president i think . or some part of managment.. and they hit the ice from time to time. bro the sedins are gods in vancouver. ive literally seen them driving around several times. mostly in the west side of van. i never bug them or anytyhing. thats probably why they chose to live here instead of going back home to swedent

Let me very clear...and I believe I speak for the mass majority. The Sedins did not let Vancouver down....rather the other way around. They were a "Piece" in a winning franchise.....and Vancouver management did not pursue the other pieces we needed. I think after all the effort and hard work these guys put into this city and team, for them to retire without a Stanley cup ring is a crime ! I would be very happy for them to go to a team with the most chance to get their names on the cup...which they so richly deserve!

no man. THEY DID NOT LET US DOWN.. the inspired us to be classy. Learned a lot from those guys i say no. becuz we did get hamhuis and ballard, and even mats sundin. and pavol demitra. the refs screwed us in the finals lots of times. daniel would have rag dolled marchand. but instead . daniel wanted the Power Play for the team. i always say that is true toughness. and leadership.

Tonight is going to be an emotional one. I remember going to their first home after announcing their retirement. The energy and emotion in the building was infectious. Then watching their final home game, with an ending befitting their careers. Then to watch Edmonton give them this send off. It really speaks volumes of how special these two were and still are to the game of Hockey.
