I'm not an Indonesian but lived there for a while and have watched 2 java jazz fests and all i can say is that Indonesians really have a great taste in music. They also have pretty good musicians as well. they are influenced by jazz music mostly. Their annual jazz festival is a must watch

The build up was intense. When you wait for him to start singing, like ACTUALLY wait the whole 4 minutes, you won't regret it.

The thing I appreciate most about Daniel Caesar is that he’s not a sellout. He is still so authentic even after all the fame and recognition he has received.

Shout out to our Indonesian jazz brothers. I am sure the phrase Daniel said at the beginning - "Aku cinta kamu" - means the same as here in the Philippines - "I love you". (Although it's not a literal translation. It translates more to "You're my sweetheart" for us here in the Philippines).

Anyone else just absolutely love the opening four minutes of this video? The way the jazz band just sets the mood and kills the instrumental. Gets me every time.
