The greatest and the No. 1 performance for me in the whole history of cinema. ❤ The most difficult performance - how in the world did DDL make it look so natural. It’s way beyond me
That performance stands out as the finest performance I've ever seen, and I've seen a lot of great performances over the years, Daniel Day Lewis gives an astonishing performance that redefined acting litteraly, I 'm so sad for Tom Cruise who gave everything he got for this role, who I thought was wonderful playing Ron Kovic in Oliver Stone's film, in another year he would've won for sure !
He deserved it. Some great competition in there also. Robin Williams for Dead Poets Society and Tom Cruise for Born on the Fourth of July. All stellar performances.
It's not just you, honey. I felt the very same way when I first took an active interest in the Academy Awards the year before. This is from my second year...which was also the first in a long line of Oscar predicting regrets.
Obviously nothing against the other actors they're all good and they all are extremely talented but no one repeat no one came close to Daniel Day-Lewis
sino fuera por que ganó el más mimado de los actores se lo merecía Tom Cruise por supuesto que Daniel está a un nivel Dios siempre, pero tom logró conmovernos mas
I would be glad to lose against this performance. You can always tell yourself, well it was Daniel Day Lewis for My Left Foot. It is worse to win against a weak performance.
