I watch every episode of Fool Us. 2 years ago I commented on his first appearance that his performance was my favorite of any magician, doing any trick. It still is! This one was pretty great as well. You know a magician is awesome when you figure out his trick and just don't care! Best wishes to you, Daniel!
I missed you so much, Daniel. Your previous perfomance was, probably, my favourite perfomance of Fool Us ever. Greetings from far away Russia! Now I'm gonna watch this one :)
My first time seeing you my namesake Daniel. You are a wonderful, creative, effervescent magician and it genuinely was a delight to watch your highly entertaining routine. Big Danny, Chelsea, London, England 🏴🇬🇧
The entertainment value of his routines is outstanding. His tricks are just like him: funny, elegant, charming in all possible ways. Please consider uploading more! ❤
Estaba viendo tu primera rutina de Jarry Joudini y me apareció este nuevo video, excelente rutina y seguiré viendo tus videos a ver si vuelves a Fool Us. La tercera es la vencida 💪🏻
Always a pleasure to watch the energy and stage presence that you have Daniel.👌🏼 This is such a great routine too🤍 ... loved it.💙 Next time, can you ask them to Ship you to India? Would live to see your live shows.
my favorite part about this trick is that he was in the box. no gimmicky "im secretly in the audience look at me sneak on stage as a randomly selected audience member". awesome.
Con mi novia estallamos de risa desde el primer momento. Los detalles de lo que hay adentro de la caja son geniales. Lo mejor de Fool Us! Abrazo grande
They just passed the balloon zigzagging up the rows. I think they were supposed to throw it and let it bounce around and see who it landed on naturally. The paper prediction part was the easy part to figure out, but I can only guess at how the lock part was done. I have one idea, but I could easily be wrong, because it seems a bit too elaborate.
I enjoyed the act while you were inside the box, which was almost the entire magic act. I'm not a magician, but I watch a lot of magic, and watch all of Fool Us and of Penn & Teller. I mean, the way you blew up the balloon was enough to get me to give a smile and a laugh and earned a thumbs up on the video and then the follow up joke was funny by both of you, along with other things, so I really enjoyed watching this. I have a guess for how the padlocked worked, but I feel like it would be a huge risk of ruining the act if you did it how I'm thinking, so there was likely a much safer and much more clever way. I can say that if I was in the place of Penn & Teller, I would be wrong between 95-100% of the time, even if I was forced to make guesses on every act I've seen because when I find out how tricks are done, I'm 99% of the time wrong.
Not sure how he did it, but if I was doing it, I would rig the padlock with a remote so that it wouldn't open with any key until I press a button on the remote. And the paper note was written inside the box, and placed in his hand. He dropped the paper when he popped the balloon. Even Brooke doubted it as she asked, "no way, so that was inside the balloon?"
This honestly might be the best magic trick I've ever seen. At the start, I thought the key bit was boring. But then there was the payoff at the end. I have no idea how you did it. But that's not even the coolest bit. I feel like all the surprises kept coming Actually, was nicole a stooge?
The trick may not have been special, but the performance was outstanding. It's more important to entertain with confidence than to revolutionise something so much it becomes unrecognisable. :)
This is a truly amazing routine! In think the note was never in the Balloon to begin with, though how he controlled for the key ahead of time, I have no idea. I do think there was never a live feed inside the box, though. Pre-recorded messages and reactive writing. I could be way off, though, so well done!
What a weird trick. It's nice and all, but the ending with the prediction is so anticlimatic and easy to figure out, I couldn't help but think "all of this, for that?", despite having no idea how the padlock thing was done.
I think the prediction in the balloon was a nice touch. It made sure there was "magic" in the routine. Without the prediction some people might actually "miss" that here was a trick. I thought the prediction was handled very well. (not easy to figure out if you are unfamiliar with the method already)
THats a great performance ! It is one of the best tricks with keys. I disagree with Penn. Del Ray did the trick with the keys beautifully, as did Max Maven, and Penn and Teller's long time friend Johnny Thompson (at trade shows) But this is very memorable version. That was very fun to watch.
I don't believe Penn!! To pick a womans out of the blue using a balloon and turns out he picked the one with that name would have to be astronomical!!....and the key also!! Daniel did a great job on that trick....
All the keys would open the lock, he has a mechanism inside the box that enables the lock. He wrote the note (well really just the name and number, he could have have pre-written everything including the color by just having 4 notes, minimizing what he had to write) in the box. Then when he looks for the "pin" in his right pocket he places the note up against the balloon, and when he pops it he just drops both. What's inside the balloon when he shakes it is a piece of orange balloon so it just looks like a scrap among the other scraps on the ground. Magicians practice writing notes in subtle ways for this type of trick. Some can write on paper in their pocket, and can even make the pocket itself look empty by hiding a small piece of graphite under a fingernail for the writing and then discreetly dropping it. The creases in the paper can tell him where to write. But really, he didn't even need to do that. There was a ton of opportunity to discreetly fill in the note. Basically, everything he did is a very well-known technique, he just assembled it in a nice way. But the actual tricks are so common, there is no way P&T wouldn't know.
@@bradsnetAgreed. The guy is a hoot but there’s exactly 0% chance this would fool even a hobbyist magician, which makes the act so odd to begin with. I’m not even a hobbyist and the trick was glaringly obvious as to be almost funny in its simplicity.
Whenever I see these types of tricks, and then I see that note with all those “predictions”, I come to realize, hmmm, someone else is also in on the trick. Nevertheless, nice trick, a bit too long, but nice.
