I have seen families try to get help for mentally Ill people with no prevail, and the process is made extremely long and tedious for no reason. I have seen and even gone to the hospital with someone having a mental breakdown at 5PM only to find myself sitting in the ER with him till 4AM and even then he had not been called I just had to get home as I had work in the morning. I had to ask him please stay and keep checking on him via phone to insure that he didn’t leave. For other folks struggling it’s lost on them that they have a illness, some are in denial, some have other issues like drugs, some may have no family there are a number of things that go into play here and yes I blame the system as they are very aware of these peoples issues, because police come across them often, hospitals come across them and record their illnesses yet they choose to ignore them, when the system is the only one with the power that can commit a person to a hospital or treatment system. No one wants to do or say anything until the mentally Ill commits a crime or a crime is committed against them. The system thinks these people are so hopeless or worthless that they could see them doing drugs on the street or committing some petty crime and rather than even take them to jail as they would someone that is not labeled with mental illness or drug addiction they would ignore them so that they do not waste the space in a jailhouse, or a hospital. I see this system at work every single day of my life, and none of this crap is lost on me.

List all the crimes he committed.. like the kidnapping of a child or the attacks on innocent people.

I saw a constant police presence and people just living life all over. So many good samaritans along the way too.
