Perhaps Mr. Radcliffe can explain how a person with a "Y" chromosome can be a woman. Thinking doesn't necessarily make anything so and biology is more important than a "feeling". If this weren't true I'd be a small furry creature from Alpha Centauri, despite being born in England, tall and totally un-furry.

Redcliffe and Watson released a statement against Rowling, that was not simply saying we have a different view than you. It was personal and clearly a stab at her. I remember thinking what ingrates when Rowling not only changed and influenced the population on Earth, not to mention she gave Redcliffe and Watson access to a world they would not be in but for her. Thank you, Rowling, for championing women and fighting misogyny advanced and cloaked under the pretext of activism.

radcliffe and watson both come from very entitled backgrounds, he was ushered in to the harry role , following portraying 'david copperfield' as a child in a british tv drama. tv producers parents amazingly, by luck. ms watson is the daughter of two lawyers and won jk rowling over during a telephone chat. despite not being at all like the hermione granger character, who wasn't as upper class and never a inherently entitled insufferable upper class little madam. their 'talent' hasn't made them anything wise and real, and their ingratitude is the least surprising news. the films were atrocious anyway, shame it gave talentless twaddle merchants like them another platform

As a man and father in a straight relationship, i have no right to tell a woman what makes them feel safe, and as a man in Daniels position also as a father in a straight relationship should have not commented on anything because he is neither trans or a woman. And with horrible titles like "JK Rowling’s savage transgender takedown" from the media is very disappointing. As a man we need to listen to women when they speak, while we may suck at it at times, if i learnt anything over the years of marriage is that a trust and safety is at the top of priorities for the women in our life, and if women are speaking, they are not feeling safe we need to listen. Everyone should feel safe to express their views and have healthy conversations regarding them. And i have upmost respect for women to be able to express if they feel safe or not.

It depends what you mean by "women". Watson, Radcliffe, Grint etc defend TRANS women's rights, JK Rowling defends BIOLOGICAL women's (CIS women's, if you like) rights. Watson, Ratcliffe, and Grint would say trans women should have the same rights as cis women, JK Rowling says that trans women aren't women so shouldn't have access to cis womens' spaces / competitions.

she has a right to her opinions. But they are so biased on very specific facts about small %. Most trans are not out to get women, or errode being a women. Yes there is a small % who does say stuff like that. But most of us do not. And yes i agree with her , there is a too young age to change etc. But again she is talking about a small % who have the problem. Instead of making it right for all trans.
