This has been a disgrace and regular people have been saying this for 10 years (or more). I have more respect for the HP stars now than ever. Now that she's no longer involved in cinematic projects, she's got much to say. Bottom line - Yes, she has a right to her beliefs, but she clearly made sure to hold her thoughts until she collected the bag. I'm pretty sure, had she voiced her opinions sooner, it's likely she wouldn't have collected much profits and ruined the careers of others involved in her projects. While they have a right to make films and profits, it shouldn't be at people's expense. No one, including her, is entitled to moviegoers' money. Lately, I've been side-eyeing folks in the entertainment industry because of what's making headlines and the controversial comments that are garnering much attention. I don't mind supporting movie stars, but I'm not going to pay those whose beliefs are either harmful to my existence or way of life. Truly, I believe public figures need to voice their opinions more so I can know who "not" to support. No need to invest into someone's career when they're hiding their controversial beliefs until they are financially secured. In this case, I felt she hid her true "color" most of golden years to safely receive cashflows to go on this "crusade", leading me to wonder what else is she hiding. Who else does she not like? Will she use her influence to target others whose lifestyles she disagrees with?

I’ve gotten few apologies in my lifetime…..and some I have told I don’t accept your apology. With age I understood apologies are just an exercise for others to feel good about themselves. The worst thing about the Harry Potter movies was that Daniel Radcliffe wasn’t very good at his craft….. I brought my son to all of the HP movies because he enjoyed the books. Imagine that…..it wasn’t for the acting.
