Daniel's Near Death Experience (NDE ) Saved by an Angel as a child 

I got into a car wreck when I was 22. I lost control going 110 and went off the road flipping out into a field. Right after I lost control but before the initial impact something told me to not tense up. I didn’t see anyone and didn’t hear a voice. Just the thought. So I just let go of trying to control what was happening. I walked away with a limp and a busted up hand. Today I have a scar and a memory. I got lucky and am thankful that thought crossed my mind when it did. Wherever it came from it is the reason I’m still here. Driving much slower now, of course.

I have a bizzare memory from childhood where I was riding my bike as a kid ( going fairly fast ) and I was headed for a tree then all of a sudden before I reached the tree everything seemed to go in slow motion ( especially me on my bike ) and while I was moving in slow motion - after cycling fast - my bike seemed to steer itself around and past the tree when I should have been on a collision course with it. I don't know if hitting a tree when riding your bike pretty fast could kill you, but I know I didn't have a helmet at the time - so maybe I would have got a good head knock which would have been serious enough for a more deadly outcome. ?

This took me right back to about age seven, some neighborhood kids and I were playing "Guns" I had climbed a tree about six feet up, and one of my ankles got caught in the "V" part of a branch and I was falling out of this tree backward. I landed flat on my back and it knocked the air from my lungs, so I had realized looking across this yard that I couldn't breathe and trying to get my friend's attention to no avail. I blacked out like a light. I woke with my Mom and the friends, one of theirs' Mom and was trying to tell them this story of what happened and was trying to get their attention that they didn't notice. No near-death but they told me to stay awake and not let me go to sleep for a long time for some reason.

A four year old remembering I can’t take these accounts as true or accurate

Driving rural, winding, 2-lane blacktop in my pickup. Glorious morning. Cab filled with 4 toolboxes and tool pouch, going job hunting. Blew a tire on curve. Immediately thought of morning reading Psalms 91: ‘For He shall give His angels charge over thee...’ At that point, a blue-white light covered me. Never, before or since, have I felt such peace. No words describe it. Just profound peace. That Light held me in place as truck spun and hit ditch tailgate first. Flipped end over end, twice. Hit plowed field and rolled side over side, twice. I watched my tools fly in slow motion. Every socket, wrench, driver, meter... all drifting in space. Nothing hit me. Glass shattered. Metal crunched. No sound. Just overwhelming peace within that Light. When I was found by other drivers, I was unscathed and sitting on mangled bumper with my Bible. Cab of truck crushed down. No idea how I got out, I was just there. That Light stayed with me until ER doctor put his hands on me, then it drifted away. What a sense of loss! I didn’t want it to go. But I had to stay. I had to. Didn’t know why, then. After astonished doctor released me, family gave me ride back to truck. Gathered up some tools and found unbroken piece of glass. My driver’s wind wing. Sticker on it said: God is Awesome.
