You forgot to add a lot of those were against the truly awful White Sox. Last night against Grayson Rodriguez he was a non factor. Why was this? Because Rodriguez is a good pitcher unlike the trash he had been raking against.

This is funny. I just watched Bergers come to the plate and watch 5 pitches go by for a strike out. Didn't even look like he had interest in swinging. Bergers has had an ok couple of weeks but there is nothing special going on.

The high average is irrelevant. If he’s not hitting home runs his value is irrelevant over the long term.

@@sir.muffiniii7011 vogelbach is only in the league because of power potential and OBP. His OBP has always been tied to walks, not high average. His high average is a complete mirage, and that’s already reverting to the mean. If he goes on a sustained home run tear, that could be somewhat sustainable. In conclusion: high average = unsustainable Power = somewhat sustainable
