Great match. Collins had this match with 2 break points to go up 5-3 in the second. After she lost those two crucial points I had a feeling Aryna would come back.

The level of intensity in this match reached an all time high..This will be recorded as one of the most exciting competition in womens tennis..It is the most entertaining game we had so far and it is just the beginning.They are staging a great rivalry in tennis...Danielle and Aryana deserved our congratultions for providing the best enjoyable and pleasurable atmosphere for their tennis enthusiats..

Especially, Sabalenka has delivered a more unflinching performance than Collins as of the second set in order to recover her resilience and agility within this stage.

Collins' winning streak was mostly due to home ground advantage and playing a still recovering Rybakina in Miami. Once in a lifetime phenomenon triggered by her decision to retire at the end of the season. I have a feeling she will struggle during the remainder of the season, particularly the grand slams.

So glad aryna took her out.

It was indeed a pretty nice match from both sites, but sadly, they did cut the funny part out. Danielle screamed "let's go" after arnya couldnt reach a ball so directly after that aryna gets a point and screams "lets go" as an funny and provocative answer to Danielle. I absolutely loved it! 😂

Collins finally ran out of gas after so many matches. Don’t forget, if you keep winning tournaments, you get almost no rest. It punishes winning and I think the WTA ought to reduce the number of tournaments or else put a cap on how many tournaments a single player can participate in in one rolling 12-month ‘year’. I hate to see the bts exhaustion and nagging injuries that accumulate during a full schedule year in and year out. Maybe for a pusher or tactical player it is easier (maybe), but for these kind of power hitters it’s unsustainable. I’m glad Collins will get a little rest before Italy and especially Roland Garros. She should plan out her itinerary so that she can peak physically for the GSs. She’s in great shape but she IS 30 years old. Aryna might be able to keep going at her age for longer stretches.

How come Collins was not grunt-screaming in this match like she did in Miami and Charleston? If she was an authentic grunter, she would do it every time, like Azarenka or Sabalekna. She makes that irritating noise only to distract the opponent. The way she ridicules her own box, asking them to shut up, bossing them to stand up and cheer... Good luck Kipp.
