She should have went ahead and played Barty and tried to win the tournament. Winning is always good and builds confidence which she seems to lack lately in the later stages of grandslams. You can't practice it

Collins has got some serious game. She still doesn't know how to win and finish matches off. Some really talented players never get the coaching or team around them to optimize their abilities
@@forzacmo9069 then she shouldn’t have entered. I know exactly what Serena is chasing and that she essentially used this as a warm up, same with Osaka. The thing is, this ‘drought’ of slams doesn’t have to be so fast. She won in Auckland last year and she could have won here. If she doesn’t win a slam again, it will be a total drought because of the disregard shown for the smaller trophies.
@@aaronrichards9992 So what its going to be? You say she shouldnt have entered but she won Auckland last year and what did it do for her at the AO? Nothing. At the end of the day, Serena has to do what works for her and not what we think she should do. Its obviously she just wanted a few matches to knock the rust off and take the rest at the AO.
I can see Serena winning one big one in 2022, if she keeps this kind of preparation going. Because she’s moving very well, and loosing weight is definitely showing in her movements and endurance!! Whatever she’s doing she has to keep doing it and loose another 15 pounds and she’ll have that Grand Slam!!
I think Serena used these three matches to figure out what she needed to do to improve her game ahead of the AO. Also, she really is moving better than she has in years. She always looked tired/injured to me since her return.
🙄It's totally sad if you really think about this. If she would have waited 1 MORE YEAR to have her kid she would have gotten to 24 for the all time record...Never won a major after her daughter and she was so darn close,, it's over folks and to late now!!!!!!🙄
@@tennispredictionsandreacti130 “always”? You are wrong. You admitted: there is automatic line calling. There are no over rules. Point to the balls you’re even talking about. Don’t be foolish. Do you think you’re smarter than the computer system? You do not know the rules.
@@bryanmartin5901 You just proved, that you are the one who doesn't know the rules. You in this argument embarrassed yourself even more. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 For your information, you idiot chair umpire is the final authority and everything what they say goes. Their decision is final. They can easily overrule automatic line calls too, you idiot. They have the rights to do so. Now do you understand how absolutely absurd and hilarious your argument sounds? You are the one who is in the wrong here. And so was umpires.
